What REALLY guts me as a Bahamian citizen?
When leadership- community, religious and/or politician, take it upon themselves, to get up on a soap box, and then, when they are confronted with the task of finding "solutions to the issues" they then in turn, up and use as their flimsy excuse..."IT'S ALL OF OUR RESPONSIBILTY!!!"
:dgi:
What?
So, you mean to tell me that persons voted in leadership- whether it's a church, community, civic organization and/or political leader- for them to tell us, that the reason we elected them into positions of leadership, is not a position they are equiped to handle; in the short or long term?
:dgi:
Leadership is not supposed to find a quick fix to the solutions. Because, if there was a quick fix, we would as a people, go ahead and get it done. But, they are there, to use their experience and VISION to set straight the corrugated issues.
If your group leadership, up and tells you, in essence, that it's "your problem" or "it's all of our responsibility"...you should tell him to carry his tail feather.
Religious leader, community leader, civic leader and/or politician.....you are there to provide your leadership, which means you must bring your vision and expertise, to at the very least take a paralactic attitude to the issues; at the very least. Not to wring hands and cry; you can't do it.
That's why we have "leadership". We have "leadership" in place so that the group that is seeking to be led, puts their trust in an official, so that he can put policy that matters in place and make sure the policy that matters, gets enforced AFTER he has assessed what's the best way forward, out of any situation.
Jesus took his responsibility serious. He was the great leader. So was Stalin. He took leadership serious as well. Both had very different results. But, they took leadership serious, gave you the goods and let you take the way forward, from the policy they set in place- spiritual or governmental.
If they [your leadership] can't do that, they have to be taken to task- at the best possible first chance.
Sunday word.
It's late...but...IT'S BACK!
