While passing government high school today around 2:30 on the bus, they had the gates all closed and a camera man was standing in front of the gate. An old lady came on the bus from in front of the school saying that a stabbin just took place. I'm not aware of any other details.

Blame the government for not having proper security on their campuses.

Yet, people on this site, would give the FNM an A, when their policy to remove police out of the schools, have resulted in more NOTICEABLE school violence in the last 6-8 months.

You figure it out. Put the police back in the school. Work on the security with the private firms and police. The blood is on Hubert Ingraham's hands- we don't have to do it like this. We should not have to beg him to do what's right!

Wait for the monbats to sugest we should just put more police in schools without thinking of the logistics that such a move would entail.

I mean, no reason to clean up our communities thus eliminating the reason for disenfranchised youth to run amok...

DUH!

It's a criminal gang thing. I don't know what would it take, for those jack azzes in parliament, to realize that we have legitimate criminal minded gang members in out public schools- they simply just don't care.

Carl Bethel never went to a government school in his life. Neither will his kids. Hubert Ingraham is a country boy from the old school- his kids will never have to go to a public school. His wife should tell him better...a child got killed on her school campus.

Dear God....his wife can tell him what's going on in the schools. Alas, her kids don't have to go to a government school either. She is just doing a job. She does not have to care -either way- on how her husband has been aiding and abetting the spilling of the blood of the innocents.

Teachers are in fear. Confrontations on a weekly basis with teachers and students, to the point of calling people "outside" is totally happening. Decent students are in fear- I went to a private school, and was afraid of the animals we had in my school. We had guns and knives in my private school too. Imagine the public schools....

The government has got to get off of this pride kick, and please put the police back in the school....they just don't care!

We had them there before jackazz!
:taped2:

We took them out of the schools, and crime has been climbing with them on the streets as we speak. Even the kids are fighting on the outside....A police force on the campus, keeps us safe and it's more efficient, than them responding to an emergency, where as by the time they get there, the issue has escalated to a near riot!

I say lock up the parents for contributing to the deliquence of a minor and being an accessory to manslaughter or attempted manslaughter. All teenagers under 18 are not responsible for their actions, all those responsible should be hauled b4 the courts and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the laws and if there aint no laws make them up !

The death of the young man last week over an attempted robbery of a doggonit cell phone didnt had to happen, those kids were known for stealin to survive, parental neglect and parents not workin and could care less about the kids. Social services needs to investigate that family cause they breedin more of that kind and its only a matter of time b4 more of that clan kill somebody. Desperate situations call 4 desperate measures. I say we in a desperate situation :sparky:

The more you school the more you sh*t spill out your mouth.:
If someone has a beef with you and want's to get at you do you think security would stop them. All it is, is timing or do you want them to place aleast 300 hundred security guards to a school and hope nothing happens.
One thing is for sure sh*t does happen and there are ruthless kids out there who just don't gave a sh*t of those around them, police security nothing would stop them from doing what they have to do to another person even if they have to wait until after school or would that be better for u to comment on.

Finished?

all right take a deep breath.

Trust me, i understand your frustration with this situation, it just ticks me off that these children dont want to do anything, except live "the Bahamian Dream": ride in one fresh maxima on rims (of course on loan from our local Commonwealth Bank), get one steady busboy job at atlantis, and have an offspring.

But is it really fair and just to place ALL blame at the government's feet? believe me, i agree that the FNM has fallen down in this area of police in schools, but honestly, shouldnt we get to the cause of the wound (irresponsible parents and broken homes) and stop putting bandages over it (police) while it continues to bleed profusely (rampant school violence)??????

all of us on this forum talk about the cause of the problem (parents) but WHY WHY WHY do we not offer solutions to it?????????? apparently NOBODY can run this country better than BI when it comes to good governance, but parenting skills? how do you make a good parent? can anyone give me an answer to that one? Can you, Alien?
