View Full Version : Truck robbed of beer in Nassau
bahamiangoddess 03-04-08, - 02:16 PM Z.N.S reported that a truck carrying about 14 pallets of beer was robbed yesterday in Nassau. Therobbers stopped the truck, tied up and robbed the driver and unloaded the beers and carried them away.
The police should be able to track this load, I know they will try to sell their loot. That is thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

Little Fisherman 03-04-08, - 02:30 PM Inside job? Where was it parked? Out in front of Oasis so the driver could buy numbers, then they got him when he came out? Details please..............

To unload beers off a truck while the driver is being held up is a pretty easy job for a few men (weak or strong) all they needed was the right location to hold the driver up....where less people would spot them...

praetor 03-04-08, - 03:37 PM Pretty shrewd job. They most likely will sit on the stash and sell it incrementally as to not draw too much attention. Unless someone blows the whistle, the police will never find them.
Little Fisherman 03-04-08, - 03:40 PM 7 pallets of beer is large, could never fit it in my rental house and get to the bedroom. Have to start drinking it fast.
bahamiangoddess 03-04-08, - 03:42 PM The (1) driver was reportedly forced of the road.
With a stash this big, I am sure the police have snitches who will be selling info. Bahamian people like talk.
bahamiangoddess 03-04-08, - 03:44 PM Then again this could have been an inside job, I wonder if those drivers are paid enough to resist the temptation.
