FYI this will be the last Christmas Mom Dad and I will be together the 3 of us for Christmas.
Thanks
For all the memories since I was a little boy
Even if a Barbie doll was more the right kind of toy
For playing soccer even though I would miss the ball and kick you in the shin
You did not get mad all you did was grin.
For being there when my knees got scraped and bled.
While they hurt, all I could do is cry while you held me close and rubbed my head
For my first white Christmas and first snow fall
It was like my first boat ride where I was tucked into the bow bundled up like a ball.
For the hard finger that would crack me in the head
But love was always there when I was told its time for bed
For mornings with a crowd when you cooked loafs of bread into French toast
Maybe they have forgotten but I have not, you were a great host
For taking me out on the boat and teaching me to fish
There are more memories than most could wish
Turns out I did not have brothers and sisters when mom had me she was done
Daddy when I came out to you and you said oh well got two for the price of one
Mommy you said I knew you were different but did not know how I would turn out
And you both love me with out question or doubt
I would not change any of it not one bit
For us it was simply a perfect fit
I don’t know what to say this Christmas except to say thank you for all the Christmas’s and memories you gave me.
I love you so very much.
Oh if you see something that might make it better please post it.
Thanks
