View Full Version : Online Bullies. Stand up against them
BahamianSign 03-08-08, - 11:28 AM Why do I get the distinct impression that some of you all are afraid to stand up to online bullies.
Don't let their grammar and looks fool yinna. People that are traditional or online bullies, have issues. Fight back.
You don't have to be as eloquent as they are to know when they are wrong. But when the masses remain silent, evil prevails.
In life, good can only overcome evil when good people decide to squash it. But until then, 20 supporters of bullies like TING UM (or his additional login IDs) and 2 people fighting against his online bully tactics, will participate.
What yinna 'fraid of, come on, I gat ya back. We can do this. :-)

Little Fisherman 03-08-08, - 11:35 AM why waste the time and energy for such nonsense

I don't think that it is so much that people are afraid to stand up to these supposed on line bullies, as I think people just ain't for da drama!!!!!
garnelleo 03-08-08, - 12:48 PM Either I am seeing wrong or this is the second-third str8 thread speaking to the same topic. Can't you keep them in one single thread instead as you eventually call out tingum in each? A forum rule speaks against posting multiple threads about the same topic.

a) They're actually different topics but using the same person as the example (Ting um). But thanks for raising the concern.
b) And your supposed understanding of Forum rules is refreshing. You should be a lawyer. Keep up the good work.
"Nah go back to bed before I tell ya ma" opps my bad, that breaks forum rule 105b. My bad lol
Regarding Native Stew saying have thick skin, it's not about think skin, it's about what is appropriate and what some of us will not tolerate without speaking up. Some people remain quiet and just let ignorance roll of their fists, others stand up and fight back. Obviously I'm a fighter, and it's hard for me to sit idly by and watch others beat up on anyone (including me). As for Native Stew, you better go do some edits and include your transitions, run it to HD, Mini DV, DVD, Streaming version or both and stop playing online dread. lol keep up the great work in video/film. And email a brother sometime.
BahamianSign 03-08-08, - 01:08 PM I personally haven't seen the posting but is it true that someone tried to use Obama and tie his name/image with the illegal drug crack????
If someone did say this, and I think the name is known to us all, then that person is truly a bigot/idiot/racist. Now the fact that this person is possibly a Black person, further shows the deep issues that this person has.
Scum bag, and totally ignorant.
a) Crack is simply a cheap form of cocaine. No one makes fun of richer persons who take cocaine, rather society helps many of them to get help.
b) Crack is used by poor persons, but not just Black persons. Thus the joke that Obama is a Crack president, or whatever the joke was, is such BS, it makes me SICK.
c) Coming from a person of any color is bad enough. But if it's true that another Black/Brown person said this, then if any of you meet this person at a club somewhere, please teach this person a lesson or two.
Racism is wrong. And statements that are clearly intended to belittle and spread racist concepts and teachings should not be allowed online. It makes me sick and mad.
Although I have been supporting Obama, in all honesty, I am not Muslim nor is he. But Islam/Muslims are not the problem with out world. it's persons of other religions that say one thing then do another and treats fellow humans like trash.
