"I believe in the Omniscience Power which created the universe.
The Creator is incomprehensible.
Do not try to fathom or describe it.
Doing so leads to conflict.
Just stand in awe and wonder.
The greatest power still flows through the creation.
Throughout the ages some people have touched that power and lived lives of humility with harmony and healing
The peace that we long for will come, only when we follow their example.
We must always live in hope.
Certainty is foolish - I may well be wrong."

I wish I could take credit for that "Creed" but it was written by a seventy-year-old Anglican by the name of Anthony Bennett. I heard it read over the BBC radio online.

So what do you think? Is that a Creed you could subscribe to? Could you write a better one?

Cool. Interesting. But what if I like conflict? Is it not conflict which changes things and thereby makes certainty fickle?
P.S. That's more or less the only thing I'd change, the last word.

I can't speak for the writer but my understanding is not "good" conflict but the conflicts with guns and swords which one has to admit happened a lot, and still does.

Hmm...[shrugs] yeah, my perception might've been too obtuse. But sometimes even the conflicts with swords and guns are necessary to procure "good" conflict.

They might produce good results, but surely, they are fought to end conflicts, but then again, that does not always work. It just builds up more anger for the next conflict.

Yup, but isn't that the building block of our nature? Converge. Diverge. Converge. Diverge. Consider the structure of the helix from the side...

Yes. The Buddhist would say we are caught in the trap of existence. But there is a way out of that trap, perhaps not for the world as a whole, but most assuredly for any given individual.

Buddhism is not alone in this. Most good religions offer the same thing. Their focus it to get us out of this conflict, attack, conflict and attack cycle.

alot of time the real conflict happens before the actual physical display!

but real conflict is unavoidable...sometimes you just have to take a stand and do what you do best, either cower or fight!

Here is mine.
did this sometime ago as a way to help people understand how I feel and understand my belief.

I believe in the unlimited power of the Creator who created everything NOTHING can exist without the intent of the Creator.
There is no way we can even dream that we understand the Creator.
There are as many ways to understand the Creator as there are people.
All we can do is be who we are children of the Creator.
Creation is not over until the end, After all a new born is creation.
The Creator is called by many names and has sent messengers for us to hear.
All we can do is hope we understand.
There are 2 things I am sure of:
A closed mind can’t learn anything new.
There is a new discovery every moment.
