What do you think of the LP (cooking) gas problem? It seems that the retailers wanted a $22.00 increase (I heard from one retailer that he wanted $30.00) but the government gave them a $15.00 increase. That means a cylinder of gas now costs $65.00. (It was $50.00) I think $15.00 is a good increase (for them!) What do you think?
The only thing that troubles me is that this falls within Mr. Miller's portfolio. He has been known to be a bit of a hot head! But in this case he might be right.

well i barely use the stove but my family has a nasty habit of everyone cooking a different pot for themselves at breakfast so it might be them that feel the pain :). It was suggested a while back that persons ration their remaining propane so they can do all of thier holiday cooking but from the reports i read in the tribune about persons driving with propane tanks in their cars (i've also done this, but wayyy before this strike) i guess they did not heed the warning. if the gas companies are telling the truth about losing money at the current rate...i can understand their reasoning. one or two companies cant keep up with the demand..i can see this going towards the gas companies desired way.

Hey if this dispute remains unsettled, go electric :D.

That brings up a point that perhaps someone can answer. Now that the cost of LP gas has gone up, is it still cheaper that electricity? I would think so but maybe someone "knows!"
One thing for LP gas is that it does not go out, several times a week for no apparent reasons! Unless one forgets to get the tanks filled.

I Do Not Think They Are Telling The Truth,Because If The Other Smaller Companies Can Turn A Profit @ $55 Why C'nt They Do The Same @ $65.On This One I'm With The Min :what: Revoke Their License. ps The PM Needs To Stop Being A :chicken: An Back Up His Min.
