Hello Everybody!

I am new to these discussion boards. I am not from the Bahamas but your islands are in my heart. My future wife and I are planning to be married in Nassau this summer. We are looking forward to visiting your islands and hope to make routine visits in the future.

I am looking for some suggestions from you all for some great Island Music to add to my music collection. The music I am looking for can be Bahamian or from anywhere from the Caribbean. The music can be what is popular today for parties or all-time favorite classics. I am familiar with many Reggae artists (Bob, Burning Spear, Culture etc...) as I am open to more suggestions and thank you for responding to my request!

There's loads more I just too tried to remember many, will post more later and some Bahamian classics and new artists.

if you want something nice and sweet at your wedding, then you need to find some Freddie Munnings Sr. One day on Island FM they paid tribute to him for almost two hours and i was just so enchanted..........Sammy Davis ain had nuttin on him!!!!!

BUT the funny thing about it is, that OLD bahamian music (records) are really rare around here.......this lady that has an extensive collection told me that she got most of her records from CANADA.
