Two Bahamian police agents took part in the investigation of the drug gang headed by Jamaican drug lord Leebert "Indian" Ramcharan. Cocaine kingpin Ramcharan and Donovan "Plucky" Williams were both found guilty of drug smuggling in a Miami court. The two Jamaican gangster along with Ninety are expected to be jailed for life.

Many observers were surprised at the specail treatment given to Sgt Troy Lewis when he went to court. Sgt Lewis was charged with assisting prisoner and drug lord Maycock Sr to escape from Elizabeth Estates Police Station. Sgt Lewis wasn't even handcuffed. Lewis granted $20'000 bail.

The girl cop famed for bonking drug dealers in police cells has a history of being involved with drug thugs. She was married to a drug dealer who was jailed for cocaine smuggling.

A politician is worried sick that his opponents may drop a bombshell on him. The politician used a shooting incident at a house to gain sympathy fromthe public. He claimed that thugs had been hired to open fire on the house and scare him and his family inot staying out of the limelight and keeping a low profile. But his political opponents claim to know different. The shots were fired from inside the house according to investigators.
