"This is good news," said Meldman. "All of us at Discovery Land Company and Baker's Bay have a deep respect for the people, the laws and the environment of The Bahamas. We are pleased and honored that the courts have recognized this fact."

I am really wondering what has happened there.
"All of us at Discovery Land Company and Baker's Bay have a deep respect for the people, the laws and the environment of The Bahamas. We are pleased and honored that the courts have recognized this fact."
This is so ridiculous! They have no respect for the environment!
"It is wonderful that this issue is settled," said Dr. Marshall. "Discovery Land Company and Baker's Bay came to The Bahamas with an excellent development concept that passed through a very public consultative process which included input from individuals involved in SGCRA. This process made Baker's Bay an even better project. Today's Court of Appeal ruling has boosted our commitment to building the most environmentally sensitive development possible."
I would really haven't expected this from Marshall!
It's a pretty ironical that they mentioned the cooperation with SGCR...
Golf course is the biggest destroyer of envrionment due to negative impacts of fertilizers and pesticides!

Green nutter alert!!!
:hammer:
If you would care to know, this country is STILL largely un-inhabitted. Also, if you would have an issue with Bakers Bay, you would have an issue with Atlantis and Cable Beach golf courses!
Give me a break. Both areas are even MORE scenic and enviornmentally friendly than any other place in the Bahamas that I know....
