I mean some things you can actually agree on, but where is the practice of the theory? It's just as bad as not saying anything. SpamStopper 03-22-08, - 11:22 AM you was REALLY bored aye :hammer: Alien 03-22-08, - 11:23 AM you was REALLY bored aye :hammer: LOL..... Sadly, he will have to wait a long LONG time for dat one! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA............ Who me or Spamstopper or Fred Mitchell? Alien 03-22-08, - 11:26 AM Mr. Mitchell's fansite also had the full transcript of his speech: http://www.bahamasuncensored.com/CommDay08Mitchell.html Mitchell said: "Private developers are not to be blamed in isolation. Environmentally friendly policies are not yet a part of the law or the culture and when there is a choice between the environment and development, the environment suffers. " If I was present at the speech I would have burst out laughing. Mr. Mitchell why didn't your government do something about implementing environmental friendly policies? Why didn't your government enforce existing environmental laws? I think Mr. Mitchell unknowningly created a catch phrase that could describe the previous PLP's government position on the environment:"....when there is a choice between the environment and development, the environment suffers. " Look...why are you getting all huffy over revelations!?!?!? Everyone has them and a change of heart- not saying that this is the case. But, instead of guessing if whether or not which former politician did this or that. Maybe you should focus on your "issue" and move forward!?! Ya think!?!? Alien 03-22-08, - 11:27 AM Who me or Spamstopper or Fred Mitchell? YOU! Spammy doon run on wit anyting uddah dan dat ramp at Montague- dat and potholes! :hammer: hiphopanonymous 03-22-08, - 11:31 AM Look...why are you getting all huffy over revelations!?!?!? Everyone has them and a change of heart- not saying that this is the case. But, instead of guessing if whether or not which former politician did this or that. Maybe you should focus on your "issue" and move forward!?! Ya think!?!? True Mr. Mitchell might be having a revelation and if he is having a genuine change of heart then I applaud him. Don't really understand the part of your quote I put in bold......what is my issue? Alien 03-22-08, - 11:33 AM True Mr. Mitchell might be having a revelation and if he is having a genuine change of heart then I applaud him. Don't really understand the part of your quote I put in bold......what is my issue? ITS DA ENWIORNMENT STUPID!! :hammer: ***To the tone of the remark "its the economy stupid", made by former Prez Willy Clinton*** hiphopanonymous 03-22-08, - 11:38 AM LOL..... He wan enviornmentally friendly tings, but doon wan da PLP to do ti or tawk bout it- he wan da effin em to come out and show dat dey better dan all da ress. Sadly, he will have to wait a long LONG time for dat one! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHA............ Ok now that I clear this was directed at me: Please provide any shred of evidence to back up your claim that I don't want the PLP to "do enviornmentally friendly tings..." or "tawk bout it". I would be delighted if the PLP begin fighting to protect the environment or if they had done much about the environment from 2002-2007. Next point, "he wan da effin em to come out and show dat dey better dan all da ress." Not really. So far I'm not impressed by the FNM's performance after 10 (maybe 11) months in power. hiphopanonymous 03-22-08, - 11:41 AM ITS DA ENWIORNMENT STUPID!! :hammer: ***To the tone of the remark "its the economy stupid", made by former Prez Willy Clinton*** Um.....aren't I focusing on the issue of the environment by posting a thread about the environment and a prominent politican in the environmental issues forum part of BI? Alien 03-22-08, - 11:51 AM Um.....aren't I focusing on the issue of the environment by posting a thread about the environment and a prominent politican in the environmental issues forum part of BI? Lookin back at da past doon serve me or you any bit of good! :hammer: canesfins 03-22-08, - 12:23 PM Discussions around here are exactly the same as are in the HOA - instead of doing anything constructive, always blame the other party for ineptitude. You guys chastise the politicians for doing the exact same thing you do. You guys chastise the politicians for doing the exact same thing you do. I don't know why we lambaste politicians personally all the time. Especially about their positions in the past, in relation to what they say today- I mean, OF COURSE THEY PANDER...what good does it serve anyone to follow them around, other than if you are a politician vying for his constituents? Nothing! |
