as an avid fisherman i personally dont catch turtles and i dont allow them to be caught on my vessell. but as for mans inhumanity towards man if we treat each other the way we do just imagine the poor turtles . i see persons on a weekly basis just raping the ocean i have freinds that have there freezers full of fish why they do this is beyond me especaiily if you are not into selling them why stockpile. for the greater part i dont see that many fishermen outside of the hatians in pinders point catching turtles but i wish we would stop treating them the way we do . i no we must eat but just catch the thing slaughter it and be done with it dont leave it out in the sun waiting for customers to come .

He does the basic fishing from time to time...he loves boiled fish.

He lives on the canal and has all the fish that come for food every morning named....... ralph is my favorite.

I believe that the folks at Atlantis were convinced to pay this crook $800 to put in their aquarium at the reef. However the turtle died of its injuries the next day while in medical quarantine at Atlantis.

One of the turtles at Montague was saved. He was taken by the humane society (BHS) and set free. Someone from Atlantis offered to take it for observation , but the BHS checked it for injuries and when it was cleared they were adamant that it be set free.

Turtles are endangered - they should be fully protected. They've been on the planet for 100 million years - no respect!

What a horrible thing to do.....Bahamians have got to do better!
