View Full Version : Bahamian Brilliance!!
The Point 04-23-08, - 12:53 AM You read right This thread is about Bahamian Brilliance. Those outstanding, exceptional, wonderful, great things, people, places, systems, organizations, and traditions that contribute to our proudly declaring "I am BAHAMIAN/I love The BAHAMAS"!!
Don't ya get weary of the sad, sorry, non-stop negative discussions, fights and news on BI? I do! Or, do ya believe the only brilliance in this country is the part YOU bring...?
Take for eg. 'Rasta' who own da Car Wash in Yellow Elder by COB. That dude should get one a dem "Boss a da Year" Cacique or sumtin'. I dare anyone find me a more courteous, digilent, well-respected (by staff and clients) Manager anywhere.... yeah, go on over dere & get ya car clean.... it's 1st class experience buddy...:hammer:

Good thread!
I know "Rasta" and you tell the truth! He is a great guy - very friendly, and respectful. He, and his staff, do a great job on the cars they wash, and it's a place that my family and I don't mind waiting because there is good conversation over there. We often go in a group, and sit in one car as the others are being washed, and chat it up a bit.
I haven't seen any threads on the young female swimmers. Alanna Dillette, Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace, Alicia Lightbourne... I think those are the names. Those girls are GOOD, they work HARD, and they MASH IT UP.

EbonyApollo 04-23-08, - 01:31 PM Okay, I believe we do have brilliant Bahamians in every aspect of intellectual endeavour. We're a multitalented people. Every area that requires creativity Bahamians flourish. Even dishonesty and fraud. We're just brilliant. You ever met a guy on the street, he asks you for a dollar, you give it to him and he says something that smacks of familiarity. It's as if you know him. Well sure you do you just gave him a dollar.
