I have a good friend wHO EXHIBITS ALL THE SYMPTOMS. He has a long time girlfriend but I am convinced! I have never seen him with a man, but if one ain't there, he soon will be.

I don't know about the macho ones, but the ones I have come in contact with, are real feminine in their attitude and behaviour.

Usually I stay away from discussions on sexuality, but I've been curious about this for some time. Why do homosexual men marry heterosexual women? Star Jones has finally filed for divorce from that guy who is obviously gay - and there is a guy in my office that is also obviously gay but married and just had a baby.

i dont know the man in your office but if he is married and has kids and is happy mayne you should mind your business.

i find this whole idea of saying this person looks gay and that person looks gay is insane.

unless you know for sure someone is gay its idotic to brand them as such cuase plenty people in your life who your would never thought was gay are into such things.

Sometimes the only definitive sign is finding one's man in bed with another man. Some men are that good at suppressing their true sexual orientation, driven by societal conditioning and pressure. That is why I say, I would rather a man be expressive about his homosexuality than suppress, because even the most discerning of women can be a fool of.

These who contend that they can tell if a person is either "gay" or "straight" based on these characteristics are off base, as not all "effeminate" men are "gay" and not all "butch" women are "dykes". In fact, as already pointed out in this thread, there are many gay men who are quite masculine men, and some of these men, depending on whether they are "top", "bottom", or "versatile", can "take more d***y than their Ma"... :taped2:

IMO, it is wrong and prejudicial for anyone to assume that a person is "gay" based on these observations... Unless one has some special "interest" in an individual, such as developing an intimate relationship, then that individual's sexual orientation, and/or what he or she does in the privacy of the bedroom with another consenting adult is "none of anyone's business"... :hammer:

I agree with those who have presented arguments on this thread that there are many external factors which affects who we marry and why... Naturally, in a homophobic society, as found here in the Bahamas, with a strong conservative Christan influence, many homosexual men and women succumb to the cultural pressures and "repress" their true sexual orientation and identity. Many end up living a miserable existence pretending to be "heterosexuals", and some even marry members of the opposite sex.

Our sex drive is natural and one of the strongest we have in our body... IMO, if we were to illustrate our sexual orientation on a linear scale with "extremely" homosexual on one end and "extremely" heterosexual on the other, I believe most of us would end up in the "gray" somewhere in the middle... yep feminity is out the window as an obvious sign...

But what I meant is...a woman usually knows or has some clue...be candid about your thoughts...if the "spirit tells you the man is gay...call him out and question your thoughts with him...Intimacy is a serious thing...when you are truly intimate with someone and fall deeply in love you become connected...as hard as they may try they cannot hide anything from you...

now even further...WOMEN!...know your man's body...study it and know it like the back of your hand...physical evidence (changes) can SURELY alert you if your man is having a sexual gay relationship...(nuff said)...

it is nearly impossible to maintain a relationship with a man and a woman at the same time (without slipping up somewhere)... get to know his friends... do a background check on your man and his friends if need be... now ladies I dont wan't for one second for you to run around paranoid looking for signs... but a woman's intuition is right most of the time... be candid about your feelings with him...
