Usually I stay away from discussions on sexuality, but I've been curious about this for some time. Why do homosexual men marry heterosexual women? Star Jones has finally filed for divorce from that guy who is obviously gay - and there is a guy in my office that is also obviously gay but married and just had a baby.

For the same reason that hetereosexual men marry hetereosexual women who they don't love I guess...Society has in some cases conditioned men to believe that a wife's purpose is act as the hottest accesory and mandatory to complete and complement one's sucess... while to an extent this is true...it is not the sole intent for marriage...the sanctity of the union is almost non-existent and people often marry for convenience rather than an expression of love...not to mention that in the case of homosexuals who chose to live their lives in secrecy...what better way(to them) to mask their identity (so to speak) than to show how "straight" they are than to marry a woman and have a few kids...

It's sad but a bitter reality...but...I would be remiss if I didn't say this...I find it amazing sometimes that these women appear so startled when it is revealed that their men are gay...it boggles my mind how they can't tell ...

well, if one lives in a conservative community, it's often the best way to "fit in" and not raise too many eyebrows. straight women have been bearding for gay men for centuries, it seems to me. and sometimes, they really love them, sex or no sex.

Trust me they ain startled! Unless they are blind, usually the symptoms are there BIG and BOLD!

I have a good friend wHO EXHIBITS ALL THE SYMPTOMS. He has a long time girlfriend but I am convinced! I have never seen him with a man, but if one ain't there, he soon will be.
