I was at an event the other day where our pledge was being said, and it made me think about the words of the pledge. Have you ever thought about in real, practical, everyday ways what it means to truly pledge your allegiance to the flag and to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas for which it stands? What does it mean these days to be loyal to your country?

And are we truly "one people united in love and service"?

I like the US pledge...but then again, its kinda the same as the Bahamian pledge...
the pledge is like the our father prayer...something you just say...
