I love the Bahamas because its a splendid group of islands with naturally exquisite beauty. I also love the Bahamas, becasue we have some of the best food round (I feel fer some Stew Fish an Johnny Cake right now). I also love the Bahamas, because of Junkanoo, kalik, kalik, kaliking kalik. I also love the Bahamas because the people for the most part will not pass you on the road without a Good Morning, Good Evening, and 'all is well?' Oh yes I also love the Bahamas becasue , well it is home, nuff said.

u actually like that pee water ...kaliikk
Suck Teet!!!! I dont mean the beer :dunce: , I was just making reference to the sounds made by the cowbells in Junkanoo. You couldn't have something positive to say, for once about the country. You have to refer to our national beer as urine. What the :taped: is the matter man :realmad: .

Side note. I have never really been a big fan of beer since trying Moussy once. I prefer wine coolers. And I already check, they don't have no icons for lightweights other than this. :dancer:
But I love the Bahamas because of it's variety of cultures.

For goodness sake I did not mean Kalik beer, I was just trying to get everyone to post what they loved about the country, there has to be something, but I guess not, silly me :sarcastic:
It is hard to define what one likes about a country. I think it is a bunch of things, all woven together, that makes a place pleasing to a person. To pick it apart is difficult. However, for the sake of this thread I will try. First of all, the people. It is true we have our share of "odd bods" and crooks but by and large the Bahamian people are kind, decent people - some of the best in the world. :bahamas:
I also like the fact that we are not "first-world." I have lived, briefly in such countries where everything is regulated down to the last decimal point. We are getting a bit like that now, but not as bad. I like a place where government interference is kept to a minimum, where one does not have to get a permit to spray their Roses! (As was the case for my late father-in-law, who lived in the US.) Where one can hang ones washing on the line without violating some City Ordnance. Where one can drive to the beach and eat ones lunch without violating some health code. :cop:
I like the weather here, except Hurricane season. However, every country has some form of natural disaster to worry about. (We never have snow alert days!)
So, by-and-large, the Bahamas, with all its faults is not a bad place to live. For those who don't like it - the airport will sell you a one-way ticket out anytime you want. Oh! That is another thing, we have the freedom to do that. We have the freedom to come and go as we wish. :sailing:
PS. As for Kalik tasting like urine. Having never used urine as a beverage, I am not in a position to make a comparison. :friday:

I am an american, but what I LOVE about the Bahamas is the warmth, peace and joy that it brings to my soul. The warmth of the people, the sun and the warmth of God creating a place of comfort. I also love the food not naming any dishes because everything I eat is good. Each visit get better and better each time.
Continue to stay Good People of a great place!

So good to hear your reply Ernie - as well as Grown & Sexy's reply. As they say in Scotland "Haste ye bac' " (translation: Return to us, quickly.) :driving:
