Yeah Dominos has always been okay, they have some straight up rules that are followed or the staff are fired (worked there in a prior lifetime), and they are open when everyone else has closed .. just way overpriced and doesnt taste like real Pizza .. but whats a hungry SpamStopper gonna do ..

Say at War ... SpamStopper just doesnt wanna die from bad food due to lack of food safety training and regulations in this country. Bahamians have become accustomed to expecting less.
So tell me which pizza places to avoid in Nassau, my stomach sensitive spoiled food i ain no potcake, full bred pedigree

Cant say there is any decent Pizza place in Nassau.

There is one on PI that SpamStopper ate from once, it tasted really good but it was like $20 for a thin pizza that was gone in 60 seconds. Sbar might as well close down from their smelly ovens and high pricing. Papa's isnt bad but half the time they Pizza is taste like Nanny or have some other problem like all the toppings bunched up into the middle .. and the only real diff about them and dominos is they got garlic butter - they both still $17 for one little fake pizza.

SpamStopper used to get real Pizza when he was in NY for under $10 for a large one, delivered! Problem is Bahamians like fried chicken too much.

Make a list before you go to the grocery store, take it with you, and stick to it.

Even if it is "cheaper" to buy in bulk, don't do it if you won't use it before it expires, goes stale, spoils, etc.

Find some other people who buy the same things that you buy, and buy in bulk together.

Don't be afraid to count out that change and use it. Don't break dollar bills when it isn't necessary. When you cash a cheque or make withdrawals, get it as big as possible. When you have $1s, 5s, and $10s, you're more likely to spend without paying too much attention.

Watch where your money is going for a week or two. Write down everything that you spend money on. It's good to look over, realize where "all that money gone", and create a plan to save more and spend less.

Well we all know that things are tough now a days in the Bahamas. Everyone will have to budget if they want to survive this economic downturn without being left tremendously in debt. That being said, I just wanted to give some advice to my BI family, the Bahamas and the world in general.
1. Turn off the A/C: yeah this will be tough, especially since its hot, but fans does cool you also.
2. Stop buying numbers: if you aint win for the month, you just giving your money away.
3. Stop visiting your ma and the inlaws: call them instead; visit them once a month.
4. Limit the recreations: the movies, the bar hopping, the clubs gatty stop. Even the expensive hair and nail dos.
5. Limit eating out: 99c breakfast aint cheap no more. cook at home and take leftovers to work. Eat getfruits and vegatables, and not them expensive snacks.
6. Go straight home afterwork...its when ya does stop that you spend money.
7. Drop the sweetheart; she broking you.
8. Wait for the sales: Either that or put things on layway. Avoid them credit cards and stop being big eye.
9. Disconnect the Cable box; install caller id on your cell phone and screen your calls. Consider texting.
and lastly
10. Stop buying front, rent to own instead.

if you get off at 5pm, dont leave from work until after 6:30. you will burn more fuel idling in traffic.

just to add more to it:
-turn off your outside lights when you go to bed. you will save good much money.

-use fluorescent bulbs throughout your house.

-disconnect appliances that you dont use often (microwaves, toasters, blenders, lamps etc).
