After 9 months in power the government's website is still not updated. Who is responsible? This is an indication of just how lazy some of the government leaders and head civil servants are. The day after the cabinet was announced, profiles of the cabinet should have been posted. Changes in the ministries should be posted within a week of the change.

It is clear that the executive branch is not being properly managed.

Why are we even discussing e-commerce when we cannot keep a website updated? The ministers or permanent secretaries are not required to do the work. They can speak it into being. But they do not. Because they do not really care. Their agenda, according to their actions, is not to make the Bahamas run better and right.

It appears we need to start looking for alternatives.

Check out this page in the governments website. Hopefully by the time you check it, it will have been updated.

I communicated the situation with the website to Bradley Roberts. He had the issue that I mentioned dealt with. The woman who took care of it is tremendously impressive on the phone and on TV. Her name is ROWENA BETHEL. She is really a great public servant. She cares.

Bradley Roberts cares that things are done properly by the government. He has also proven to be someone who genuinely stands up for the oppressed. He tries to remove tears from as many eyes as he can. He also has very thick skin and is able to take the positive out of criticism. He is one politician that I would give an "A" grade.

In spite of that I am waiting for him to resolve the water problems in this nation. I know he can do it. I wish to know what he is waiting for.

If you see anything wrong with the government's website, or if you have any ideas on how to make things better, you can contact Rowena Bethel at " rbethel@bahamas.gov.bs ". She is the governments ace.
