I may be a lone voice crying in the wilderness but some one needs to say something.

Today I was in the Chinese food store on Boyd Road and a little boy was buying a cigar. I told the cashier that she should not be selling that to the children under the age of 18 years. I don't know if it is illegal but as far as I am concern they ought not to be selling alcohol and cigaretts to minors.

She just shrugged her shoulders and continued on with the sale.

Our children are going to hell they are smoking more dope than adults. 8 out of 10 school children are taking drugs and drinking and going into the clubs.

Who is responsible for policing these things?? Please tell me because Jeff Lloyd is in Andros trying to fix a few of the broken children to bring them back into this environment. What is the use???????

HELP ME SOMEBODY WHAT IS THE USE AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR UPKEEPING THE LAW IN THIS PLACE?????????????????????????????????

Very often those kids have been sent to the store, by their parents, to by cigarettes and booze! Is it illegal? I thing so, but who enforces the law? No body! It is up to us, you and me, to make a complaint to the police. If they get enough complaints they will act but they will not go out on their own to fix this, they have too many other problems.

I am not sure what Jeff Lloyd is doing in Andros, but all he can do it teach right from wrong and if he does it well those kids will choose the right. I wish him well and applaud his efforts - at least he cares!

See we right back to the question of morality.....as long as it eeeen me or my family i don't care is the mentality of today....some people just don't give a hoot about the future generation...its all about the buck no matter who we hurt....our leaders are only out spoken when it is politically correct :realmad: untill we have a will power to mash up who ever whenever they do nonsense and forget about the politics we are doomed. thats why i love Hubbigety he throw stones and didn't care who it hit when they do mess. said what he mean and did what he mean......some may not like his methods but atleast the bahamas had its good name and a government with big grape fruits.... 2007 is almost here and you can almost smell the BS in the air... :realmad:

I agree with CG all anyone can do is teach right from wrong, and then pray the government enforces their laws when you report breaches.

There are no consequences! Well ... they are there but hardly enforced.
