wow thats a first. Its amazing how blunt a person can be when it come to certain things.

I find it interesting that you all view Heaven in such terms. Some of you have said that Heaven lies at the end of some theological journey, others have said that Heaven is a New York restaurant, my favourite is it lies at the seventh floor on an elevator journey. I wish to answer the question differently. I spoke to a friend. I told her in many ways and manners. Ultimately she arrived at the secret to Heaven. I indicated that college was Heaven, but lawschool is Hell. She realised the answer. Are you ready?

I have a problem with Heaven based theology. It makes Christians do the right thing out of pragmatism or because it's in their best interests, instead of doing the right thing because it is self-evidently the right thing. Why not let us have Heaven on Earth? Let us have love, happiness and harmony among all persons and all creatures. Let us no longer live in hope, but in harmony with all and in all. Do right because it's right not because of some pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. How can that be right? If you're good, do good for goodness sake. If you do good only to get to Heaven, then isnt that selfish? Rather, the selfless course would be to forsake your selfishness, and hold steadfast to the truth. Do right because it's right.

this question again? the answer will never be definitive but if your not sure just go by pascals wager. its safer to bet on the traditinal christian views of going to heaven than to bet against it.

Some people say that if you live a good life, and just be a good moral person you can go to heaven. Then you have those who say that there is no heaven. You then have those who say yes there is a heaven but it isn't important now. (As if they are going to live for ever)

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. One one person does to get to heaven, is not necessarily what is required of another. Serving God is an individual if not personal affair.

Some say that we don’t actually go to heaven, rather; heaven will come to us, to quote: “And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven”.
And again, some say that “the kingdom of heaven is at hand” or literally here on earth. Yet again it is said that “the kingdom of God is come unto you” or literally in us all.
I say that the truth is out there…somewhere out there.
The Outer is but a reflection of the Inner.

You must be save after you confess your sins and asked Jesus Christ to come into your life. Follow his teaching and live right. Stay away from all sinning and some of these clowns at BI. You know will be good than.:angel:
