this rat hole right here.....
btw it's a question, if you can't answer just say so and move on.

Its not a question, its your idea of trying to defend your faith.

You somehow thought because SpamStopper said there are Religious fanatics on this forum, that he was judging ALL Christians; how exactly does calling some on this forum as Fanatics make it that SpamStopper is judging all Christians, including himself, as a fanatic.

Yah really need to go out and live like a normal person for a while, cause what ever religion you is follow is gat you mess right up. :hammer:

Spamstopper, it is best to use pictures as your reply because otherwise they take what you say and twist it all sort of ways.

So that is why you responded to my post with that frightened cat? You summed up my post to that of a religious fanatic that is incapable of proper dialogue? I am almost shocked.

It was for those who prefer to relate the threat of human extinction with biblical "prophecy".

Hold true to what you believe,i agree with you but this is the beginning of sorrows.CONTINUE TO READ AND STUDY THE WORD.

this is where i differ from most christians. i have read the bible and dont feel as though i need to read it over and over again.

i feel as though more christians need to accept christ into their lives, seek forgiveness for their sins. yes read the bible from front to back at least once but after that instead of wearing your religion like an obnoxious gold chain as someone said live to change others lives, live to make an impact in your community.

whats the point of readin your bible and wearin out the pages and going to an air conditioned church once a week in some people cases three times a week and your doing nothing but besides singing oh how i love jesus.

to me with all the churches in nassau bahamas they are still not IMPACTING the island.

live your life and when someone ask you why are you so happy. TELL THEM ABOUT JESUS, when someone ask about JESUS tell them.

Dont try to bully or force them into your belief. let them see through ur life.

Every generation thinks they are! Even St Paul was sure it was just around the corner. :)
Think about World War II. If there was ever a candidate for end times that would have been it. An evil ruler that took over Europe and other places in the world. God’s chosen people being exterminated. The whole world involved in war. Millions dead. But it was not the end of times.
That brings up another question. Why would people cheer its coming? If the Bible is to be believed it will be a time of suffering, death, pain and horrors that have never been seen. Why would a loving group of people (like Christians are supposed to be) wish it would happen and happen soon?
It would seem to me that an all knowing, all loving, God could think of a better way to end things without reverting to violence on such a scale. It reminds me of a Dictator who has lost control so he seeks to destroy because that is all he knows how to do.
But we can put that all out of our minds. Lurker is right: “The Book of Revelations was written about Roman times and the decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.”
I een no religious person but you and lurker een ger get off dat easy by dismissing dat book by saying dat "tis bout da roman empire". . .and das it?? tink licks all Kabunkle up bout now ..

When one speaks of god .. they arent always talking about the Christian god .. plenty other religions have gods and like Christians, they also think theirs is the only one ... anyway .. drink up .. licks all lick right up .. personally SpamStopper is lean more towards god being the Christian idea of a God .. the big guy in da sky .. far as the Bible is go .. SpamStopper doesnt believe much of what is in there .. as no matter as how yah translate or "try" (thats all that can be done) to interpret the scriptures, much of it makes very little sense .. not all .. but most.

A book written by man regardless of who/what inspired it, will always have its flaws, keep that in mind.

Not dismissing the book at all. There are many interpretations on just what the book means but most historians of the book would agree it was about the Roman Empire and its fall. Some even suggest it was written after the fall - just to give credibility to the Bible.

Also, not insulting God! If God is like that, which I doubt, then is it an insult to say what he is violent? (as portrayed by the writer of Revolution)
