when i frequent P.I. when i regularly come over to Nassau for a weddin or funeral or sum other ta do...i cant help bout notice the amount of women who does be sellin in broad daylight...and bringing forth these mixed half breed babies...crack down on the prostitution AND people hangin out.

When I heard this I was like "Oh No"

This is how I see it.

What ever happened to "I got ya back friends"??????????

I mean I remember when I was in my 20's and went out I always had a "I got ya back friend" with me, so when ever we both knew we had enough, or maybe getting a lil loud (eventhough the music in the club drowned out our loudness) we packed up and left!!!

I remember one time someone pushed my friend (like pushed her out the way to pass w/o even saying excuse me) she went at her and I held her hand and was like "noooooooooooooo"

I wonder sometimes (doing alot of that lately) if the "young" folk had a better choice of friends would things be less violent?

Now a days it seems like the friends itch things on or contribute to their friends getting into a fight instead of "cooling" them off they help start the fire.

The Tribune is reporting that the victim had nothing to do with the fight he was just trying to part them. Sad to see that the one person trying to do good is sacrificed for evil doers... Makes you wonder if he had minded his own business and not got involved he would have been alive today.
May he rest in peace and bask in his rewards in heaven.

Forget the tourists, today is a MAJOR beach today. Can you imagine all the kids and families around at the time who had to witness that?!


My sentiments exactly ... My heart goes out to this young man's family.. According to the news he was trying to break up the fight... The paper is reporting that when the parents got the news the mother fainted.. Gosh as a mother I can only imagine... He was apparently on his way to boarding school too..This youngster was apparently there with other family members... He was stabbed right a the entrance and like u said the amount of people that would have witnessed this.. Adults and children alike... LORD HAVE MERCY ON MY BAHAMALAND... :cry:

In fact in any society that happens. Only here we let them run around and embarras us all.

My thing is also, that we need to first think about the safety of Bahamians before we worry about the tourism industry. People already think their government and society does not care about them, they dont care about how their current actions can only destroy them, we worry about if one American will see them carry on bad before we get there........

Remember after the tourists leave we are the ones who are left on these islands looking up in each others face.
