What? ! When? Who?!

Apparently it happened right after I left the beach.....my friends and me were there till about 5 or so....don't know when exactly it happened.

But when I was on the beach lone people were drunk and high,.....we left because two groups of young fellas looked like they were gonna start some trouble.

And a side note, I watched in horror as a drunk jet ski operator missed hitting a woman and her baby by just a couple feet.
And I was ashamed as a Bahamian to see so much litter.

Before I read the thread, the first thing that came to mind as I heard it on the news was Kerzner soon ban y'all from coming over the island! SMT we really carn behave!

On another note on my way home Goodman's Bay was running over, cars parked all the way to SG Hambros. Well the police was shutting down whatever was going on at Goodman's Bay as I passed. Probably trying to avoid anbother Goodman's Bay!

They let it get too far is all .. lawless society .. nobody cares.
They need security or a beach patrol .. no liquor should be allowed on the beach.

Does anyone here feel that Bahamians should be banned from P.I. unless they are there for work only?

Hell no...the problem is ppl cannot control their emotion...in general they need to learn how to behave or leave their lil or big attitudes at the foot of the bridge. For example look at the big mixing up at the Texaco on Robinson Rd holding up traffic and thing just because someone threatened the other!

Dese lil piss tail boys need to be quaranteened (sp) to one uninhabited island!

That would be totally unfair to persons like myself who normally appreciates a good meal at Nobu or Mosaic...not a fan of the beach!

the government needs to say something asap. any types of murders around tourism areas especially on holidays is not good for us and with crime out of control lets pray good we don't lose tourist after this. we need to start hanging now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They normally do damage control when things like this happen. A representative from Tourism was probably there.

Here is my question to everyone, do you all feel that the Police should be on all public beaches with dogs, Mobile patrol units, metal detectors etc????

They got 4 wheel bikes for this but instead I see them out west speedingg up and down in the road!

Haven't seen them do it but won't put it pass the police..some of them a lil off!

Saw them this evening at Goodman's Bay shutting down whatever was carrying on there...has the northern lanes blocked up with the four wheeler and police vehicles!

i wouldnt be surprised if kerzner buy all of cabbage beach and only reserve it for his guests. thank God that it wasnt a tourist. we are killing our own tourism industry. see thats what happen when govt fail to reign in on these young men. i think.....not think BAN all alcohol and smoking in public places such as the beaches, downtown, fish fry anywhere except your yard! this will definitely cut down some of the incidences that is happening around this country. when these young men high, drunk and listening to these violent reggae music their head is trip and they want to fight. govt better heed these words. :hammer::hammer::hammer:
