Native Stew 05-13-08, - 02:26 PM BOTTOM LINE IS THIS, PAY YOUR STAFF WELL & THEY WOULD HAVE NO NEED TO STEAL. Alot of businesses don't know how to treat good employees.
no so always. I know of employees who got treated real well yet they still stole from their employer. I mean excellent salary, treated with respect and fringe benefits.
anyone else notice how it is a lot of females who are doing this. just an observation. I'm sure someone will try to blame men for women stealing by trying to say men don't support them or their children. :)
Thou shalt not steal. Period. and I bet plenty a dem is be in da church praisin' God every Sunday.
The Exotic One 05-13-08, - 02:31 PM You might just be right.
How do they move these lump somes undetected, this is what puzzles me.
Lets say they dip in the cookie car, for 14 days straight....I can see them being short $50.00-$100.00 a day but how in the world do they move $5000.00 within 14 days (just an example).........this is what puzzles me.
See They does give them a long rope so they can get charged with a felony rather than it just being a misdemeanor charge..

Thats crazy babes......I mean why let it build up and be out $15,000.00 when you could be out $500.00
SpamStopper 05-13-08, - 03:35 PM I can not see how come the manager of that store would allow that to go on for so long .... Once a cashier is short a few times that person should of been fired long time .... Those women must be was setting it off!
It is strange, as the stores SpamStopper deals with, they most times catch the stealing staff on their first day on the job! But they have cameras, and actually watch their staff .. the managers watch the other staff too.
There must have been a manager involved?
proudplp 05-13-08, - 03:41 PM So Proud... r u suggesting an employee should TIEF da $$$$ to make up the difference of what "THEY" estimate their employer 'owe'?

fasttract 05-14-08, - 11:10 AM In news from Grand Bahama, a cashier at Winn Dixie is expected to be arraigned today in connection with stealing from her employer.
The woman was scheduled to be arraigned with five other cashiers on Friday but was out of town and is expected to face those charges today.
From todays Guardian..
Last week, five Winn Dixie cashiers were charged with stealing a total of $62,000 between January and April 2008.
Melissa Laing, 26, of number 1 Ringwood Drive; Leann Seymour, 29, of Apartment 1 Beachway Drive; Ghislene Vilburn, 26, of 70 Bayberry Lane; Tina Strapp, 21, of 8B King Neptune Drive, Seahorse Village; and Symantha Jones, 19, of Hepburn Town, Eight Mile Rock, all pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Andrew Forbes to stealing by reason of employment.
Magistrate Forbes adjourned the case to November 4 at 10 a.m. for trial and granted the five women bail in the amount of $2,000 with one surety, each.
Attorneys Simeon Brown, Rufus Allen and K Brian Hanna appeared on behalf of the defendants.
They charged a few here in Nassau a couple weeks ago and say they een finished YET!! Say more gun get charged!!
Why is it so easy to tief there?
why not just ask for a year salary in-advance and work to pay it back.being label a theft is not good at all.but if they did this am not sorry for them because they were trusted and they them-self prove that they can't be trusted lock them up.

gian_18778 05-14-08, - 10:20 PM This is sad. Teefin' in the Bahamas is like a national past time dread. Why you tink most of dem restaurants over P.I. cashless?
I heard some employees (mainly females) use to take home $600.00 - $800.00 A DAY over P.I.
