The Tribune reported today that 17 shots were fired on Step Street in Foxhill. They said the shooting could be retaliation for the stabbing death of Khodee Davis. It says the shooting was possibly carried out by persons from Reeves Street where Khodee lived.

The head line reads: Gunshots 'intended for teenager's killer'

Apparently the main suspect in Davis' murder is still out on the loose.

It also reports "Neil White, 40, was caught in the Step Street crossfire. He was shot in the right thigh and treated at Princess Margaret Hospital."

I guess young Davis was not such a good lad himself if that was the kind of friends and supporters he had - guys that will shoot up a place!

If he was a good person his "friends" do him no credit.

The Guardian says:

Several calls poured into The Nassau Guardian newsroom yesterday claiming that the riot happened, but Hanna said such reports were untrue.

"There was no such civil disobedience or disturbance in the Fox Hill community. Absolutely none," Hanna said.

Am I right in saying The Guardian and The Tribune are not on the same page?

Dont know about the Guardian but I have a copy of the Tribune in front of me as I write. The headline screams "Gunshots 'intended for teenager's killer.'"It is a very convincing story with witnesses and all!
