Well I hang with these guys consistently and know how they think....TM is a big PLP so to get rid of the "scandal" he probably advised Bad Brad to "pay the hairy bank"!

All in all it is great to hang and have conversations with them to see how the first generation of University educated Bahamians think!

Those sex tapes were posted on some website for public comsumption. Like you said, those students were caught in the act. They weren't performing for anyone.
Edit - The buck stops at Min. Bethel with all schooling matters, esp. pertaining to the public schools; however if anyone is to make a statement, I feel that it should come from the Methodist authority, under whose auspices (sp?) they (QC) operate.


Actually the teen school sex recordings were not originally posted on any web site. The recordings were transfered using the bluetooth feature, and was passed on from phone to phone uncontrollably! A unknown third party then tried to post it on the web, but had the video removed because of the nature of the video recording! I don't think it was never the intent of these students in that recording to have this video publicly displayed, as the same with the QC students being caught.

That's not true, the sex recordings on the phones were of non politician children, and yet it made the front page of the Tribune and mentioned in the Punch! However, I honestly do think that this situation is being trumpth up because of who's son is alledged to be involved in the matter, but does it make it right for the matter to be swept under the rug, because we feel it will be used in political party war???? All I am sayin is that Mr. Bethel being the Minister of Education should address it, his approach to this issues, God help him.

I feel that the principal made the decision as to what punishment she chose to mete out and the parents accepted it. Now I would have a problem if he directly interfared with what the principal decision to punish the boy were he would gotten no punsihment at all. I still feel the principal made her decision with the interest and welfare of the kids in minds, until she say otherwise. Hey but thats just me being objective until the facts prove me wrong because right now we are only going of hearsay and bits and peices.

now I don be vex cus what that gal do ter yer friend the other day.:D But serously for some unknown reason dur to our soceital make woman seem to carry a bad stigma when doing something that the society consider wrong and I guess thats why the girl seem to be getting more protection.

With regards to the minister when he dealth with the particular matter that was in a public school under his ministry. This matter is in the private school. maybe the church that the school is under should say something. His role in this debacle is that of a parent not a minister. Now if he was here abusing his role as a minister then everybody would be calling for he head.

The choice to hide the matter from the public only should have been a fore warning that because of the relation of this young man and Mr. Bethel, when certain members of the opposition caught wind of this, they were going to drag this issues in to the political for front. (especially seeing that Carl is the Minister of Education) Mr. Roberts should be the last one to talk, but this is the nature of politics! He got slammed in public and now he is using this incident as a vice to get back at the government!!!! We know this already people!!!!!!! It's political nature!
