Students put their flags in their windows etc. I think there's a flag flying outside the Bahamas High Commission down in London. LL Cool G 05-15-08, - 01:13 PM ion care. it ain't like we's be flying bahamian flags in our yard. at least somebody has pride in their own country/heritage. funny thing....when i was up in Canada, i had the biggest Bahamian flag (ever) draped over my wall. now, i can't even find the little flag for my car. songbird 05-15-08, - 01:15 PM ion care. it ain't like we's be flying bahamian flags in our yard. at least somebody has pride in their own country/heritage. funny thing....when i was up in Canada, i had the biggest Bahamian flag (ever) draped over my wall. now, i can't even find the little flag for my car. well you were in a foreign country then. I mean it made you feel closer to home, and gave you a sense of pride letting the world know that you're a bahamian. i think that in lieu of putting up flags to denote Bahamian pride, we should try and keep our little Nassau town clean. that would make me proud to be Bahamian anyday of the year. Lady_chippie 05-15-08, - 01:18 PM The Roloff Family (little people) visited one of our islands and flew The Bahamian Flag on their farm. Lurker 05-15-08, - 01:36 PM The Roloff Family (little people) visited one of our islands and flew The Bahamian Flag on their farm. Are the Roloffs related to the Fukoffs? Lady_chippie 05-15-08, - 01:41 PM Are the Roloffs related to the Fukoffs? Ohhhhhhhh Lurker, what amma gonna do with you??? LOL I dont think so (lol):) bahmaboy 05-15-08, - 01:45 PM I just drove home and saw a home with a US flag up on a pole with no Bahamian flag hoisted. That made me :realmad::realmad:. Is that legal? u cant b serious ~*Lovely*~ 05-15-08, - 01:54 PM u cant b serious LOL *sighs* I'm a Bahamian in another country, and I never owned a big Bahamian flag. I actually, the only times I ever had one of those little $1.00 flags were during "National Pride" weeks at school. Flags don't do much for me. Tabs for Bahamian websites on Firefox and pictures all over the place make me comfortable enough... Along with a blanket. As for other people displaying their flags... Good for them. That doesn't bother me at all. As long as I know what country I'm in, I won't be confused or offended. LOL. |
