We in the bahamas need to get away from this sissy sh*t and develope a better social community in the true way of the creator.

ALso if gays really do get certain right in this bahamas there will be chaos am sure of that.

Victor you really all bout your self maybe even in the light of your family for force them to try and beleive in your sick ideas and excuse for not being a man as the creator presented you. The Creator presented me Gender Dysphoric a medically treatable condition if you have a problem with the result of that treatment well its your problem. As for my family I did not have to convince them of anything they heard it from the Drs and therapists for them selves. As one of them said I show signs in my bone structure of low testosterone in the womb thus this presented at birth get over it.
ALso if gays really do get certain right in this bahamas there will be chaos am sure of that.
Mixed Blessings 05-21-08, - 09:41 AM Listen here "lick and split", what I wrote was not meant to be a legal brief or an argument before the Privy Counsel for the rights of gays to marry in our Beloved Bahama Land... :footmouth
However, I am certain that, if challenged before the courts, the case will ultimately end up before the privy council... :taped2:
In my opinion, it would behove the Government to allow gays to marry and put the Bahamas on the map as a touristic destination for "gay marrage"... It would certainly boost our lagging tourism market...
As far as my words here, they were not meant for you, an obvious anti-gay. But for to encourage hose individuals who happen to be born with a homosexual orientation, have entered a same-sex committed relationship, and now wish to marry the person of their choice and enjoy all the legal privilege of a "marriage contract" as their heterosexual counterpart...
TRUST, THE GOVERNMENT WOULD BE ILL-ADVISED TO OPPOSE THIS BEFORE THE PRIVY COUNCIL AND ULTIMATELY THE WORLD, who would be watching...
:hammer:
You better watch those "I" and "MY'S" you dont want Vicky to count them now do you, lol
Mixed Blessings 05-21-08, - 09:58 AM
I red alot of stuff in here and i will not point fingers and call names but i can tell u one thing we will fight for it because we have to learn to live as one no matter what the race we are or the color we are and who we love.... u people are here talkin about gays and how you would do this and stand up and protest against it and stuff because we are standing up for what we want in life and then you have friends and relatives who are in the closet and ashamed of themselves for what... (****) we all are people and have feelings ok. Wanna talk about stuff talk about how guys are sleeping with the own daughters and sons and molesting young gurls and having relations with them. Talk about the murders in the country and robberies,, but wait since u wan talk about this and think its so bad think about ur boys dem who are sitting on the corner who acting like they so hard and rough and stuff and dey are the same ones who saying gays for dead and stuff but yet are sleeping with guys and dey ur boys and u dont know.... so stop and think ok..
anyway until next time. Vicky we are going to do what we have to and if it get to be a fight with the court lets go because if its not written then there is nothing they can do.
Cassy:lafs::duh:
Cassy I wish you the best, but I hope you know this is one serious battle you are taking on. We live in the Bahamas with alot of small minded people, who are lead by the old ways, who can not think for themselves, and have to follow the leader weather they are rite or wrong, so make sure this is what you want to do, I put my trust in God and live by it, and I beleive He meant for us to all live in peace and love and not hate and violence
Vicky 05-21-08, - 10:03 AM LOL...Really now??...I could call you a child based on your actions...but that would be to easy... to funny young one
hmmm...
Please Vicky...give it a rest... I pointed out earlier how useless and trivial your association is but beyond one's desire not to belong to a group of people with no vision or drive to do anything but ganer attention...It is impossible to be banned from an organization to which one has never been a member of or had interest in doing so...You boastfully use this as a trump card in an argument when you cannot with a cool head discuss something...it shows your childish nature...and provides evidence to your delusion state.... RAB is fully functional. Years ago before your time your partner was attending some of our meetings with his younger partner trying to become a member and certain facts came to light and truthhurts was/is the only person Banned from RAB and he is pissed.
Long enough...
For the same reason that NO member of the Rainbow Alliance has...You mean to tell me none of the gay rights activist of the Bahamas are involved in COMMITTED relationships to the point that they chose to validate their relationship by challenging this law?.... Most of the core members are single and regular member are afraid as well some came close to doing it and others went to Canada. Unbelievable....SAY IT AINT SO!!!!!...
I/We chose not to get "married" just for the sole sake of challenging a law.... only fools would get married just to challenge an unwriten policy. Marriage is a very serous commitmetif the objective here was to merely challenge a law then why didnt ANY one of the consenting adults of the RAB do it.. it is not about challanging the unwriten policy for them..Hell you like being the "first" Who said I like being first? but it is a fact I can't change. why didnt you divorce your wife and marry a man and you can be the first same sex couple and the first transsexual of the BAHAMAS... why don't you marry a woman
The wording is inappropriate considering the climate of violence against homosexuals to which you should be fully aware of...It's really scary for you to say "sacrificial lamb" in this instance... its is a eye opener I hope
"sacrifice" denotes adjectives that conjures up thoughts of violence, danger, death...etc...I hope these young ladies have been briefed that certain manners of persecution and ridicule are to expected what do you think I have been doing what do you think I did when I did that post. BUT I would assume that the satisfaction of that commitment they make to each other should certainly overshadow the persecution they may face...The love/commitment/joys of marriage should in my opinion be the ultimate goal of this couple...not a publicity stunt...not a stunt if it were for a stunt it would have been done long ago. I do hope these girls find happiness in whatever they decide..
I hope more though...that the RAB as the group they sought help from offers them the neccesary support that will need through this ordeal not for the RAB's sake but the girl's...RAB is there the question is is the commUNITY going to stand openly in support the crap starts.
PS: Since you have used BI as the official mouthpiece of the RAB's latest objective why wasnt there any mention of your plans in the news article? And when does the couple intend to go public?

YardManPickney 05-21-08, - 10:11 AM to funny young one RAB is fully functional. From this statement you just validated addidas, never does it say that truth hurts is/was a member
Cassy 05-21-08, - 10:39 AM Well we are not trying to be right out there by making it a public problem because its not the publics buisness its ours untill the noisey people of our nation try to intervain which of course they do but its ok. But we are doing it for us not to hurt anyone but to get treated like everyone else in the community of the Bahamas, by Law we are all supposed to be protected from violence and such and it never said that only persons of the same sex will be protected and persons of the opposite sex shouldn't be.
But its ok what ever comes out of it fine, but i will be fighting for what i want and what alot of others want and are scared because they are either scared of what will be said and what will happen to them.
But i really dont think i am doing any thing wrong and i am not hurting anyone.

Cassy you never cease to amaze me, good for you. call me today when you are free I have info for you.
watsayu 05-21-08, - 10:56 AM I didn't know that homosexuals had ever lost their right to marry. When did this happen? As far as I know everyone in the Bahamas has a right to marry. Homosexuals, if you would like to marry, find someone of the opposite sex and marry... it's that simple. Marriage is exclusive to man and woman... by choosing a homosexual lifestyle, which the lifestyle is a choice, then one chooses to give up that right to participate in a relationship not in accord with societal norms. I just don't get it... why complain over not getting something that you already have? Strange.Absolutely could not have given them any better advise then you have just...
My hat is off to you...
Blessings !!!!
