I didn't know he and Aboi were together, I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel that Vicky just says too much about other people's personal lives, too often.

This is how in a parliamentary democracy, such as the form of government in our Beloved Bahama Land, the judiciary maintains its "checks and balance" over the legislature. Otherwise, theoretically speaking, a rue government could vote in laws that may be favourable to them but unconstitutional, without fear of any opposition... :hammer:

you need to think in the realms of reality, in the case of gays marrying in The Bahamas do you really think a government whether PLP or FNM would simply "vote in " those laws, listen some of our dead great grandparents would rise up out of the grave!!! no government with sense would pass that act without a referendum.

as for being ad's partner, that was a given from day one, but no names been mentioned yet so nothing "really" personal. However they have all 3 been posting their personal tit for tat in the public forum, they know each other so it should have all stayed in PM.

well it all depends and time will tell....we won't see for sure until cassy goes public...but I will suggest though that if it is the Community's support you all desire perhaps you should make them aware...that is without reading it in the newspaper one day...perhaps if she alerts the Community that she is going public it may encourage others to do the same...While I understand that her decision is private and personal if she wants to solicit support then she should form a bond with the "community"...gauge their thoughts and reactions and see what role they can play... Maybe you don't get it she is not asking for anything. She will charge the lines by herself if she has to. But if the commUNITY want to see change they need to step up.

Cassy and her wife to be calls the shots on this we can only make suggestion. She and her soon to be wife will have to make some big decisions about whats right for their lives. My Brother/Sister, I work with Gays/Lesbians everyday on the job and some of them are friends of mine who know where I stand and I know where they stand with mutual respect for each other because we are all HUMAN, and I continue to talk to them everyday saying the exact same thing as I already posted on the previous page in a responsible and respectful manner along with doing exactly as you stated I should do and I quote:

My Point was simple, if you studied Human Biology or General Science in High School, it thoroughly details how the human reproduction system works. I have yet to see a man and a man or a woman and a woman reproduce. I have yet to see a man and a woman where one is sterile reproduce. So they sould not be allowed to be married or to remain married now should they. Marriage is not about reproduction its about love and commitment to the one you love. I am confused about that because 1: You are also distracting those reading this from my most important point "SWEETHEARTING AND FORNICATION" which seems to be swept under the carpet and accepted as a norm in the Bahamas. 2: If you were to look at all of my posts on my home page, you or anyone else will see that I HAVE NEVER STATED THAT BASHING GAYS/LESBIANS IS THE SOLUTION IN MY EYES TO ANYTHING. The Bahamas has far more pressing issues to deal with:
Illegal Immigration, Gas Prices, Feeding Ourselves, Crime, Education, Health Care just to name a few.

Off Course Vicky, if a man or a woman is unable from reproducing, that should never stop them from getting married. My belief is that LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER, (NOT HATE) is one of the main answers to all of the problems we are facing. Please everyone, I am posting based on Human Biology which I learned in High School, not for any other motives or hidden agendas and I will continue to make that clear, and Vicky pointed out something I missed as well in terms of a person who is sterile.

Everyone has rights, bottom line is to not abuse our rights and take advantage and violate those who are vulnerable or who did not have a choice as to who they are.
