or could it be that it was misinterpreted in the first place. After all look at all the mistakes in the past.
What happened to treating some one as you would want to be treated.
As in would you want someone telling you who you can love, marry and spend your life with??
Stop it Vicky.....

Stop putting a "spin" on the Bible and the laws of The Bahamas!

you mean like the laws that state that a woman must marry the man who rapes her? or that a woman can be put to death for being raped? That the earth is flat or tha Sodom was destoried because of homosexuality and not the real reason hospitality. That you can buy wine and strong drink with your tithe and its not meant to be given to greedy preachers.

What you and others don't like is the fact that the text is there before your eyes

I challange any of you to show me where Jesus made a negative referance to homosexuality or the act of. The teachings of Jesus are contained in Matthew Mark Luke and John. You find it and I will be silent on the subject of christianity vs homosexuality.

here is another find where Jesus said to pray to him or worship him??

Pure twisting of logic again. You are saying that those that can marry are more human? Bosh. Are celibates less human for not marrying -- I think not.
Again more slippery twisting of logic and words. A hetersexual cannot marry who she or he wants. They have to follow the laws. A heterosexual woman cannot marry another heterosexual woman in a marriage of convenience. A heterosexual cannot marry their sibling.
Even the examples you gave -- the marriage of lipstick ... yada yada ... even though it was an inane example -- it proved my point. It was the joining of two different things -- Complain dictionary.com Marriage is making 2 what ever as one unit. Even ketchup can marry. http://www.bottlesup.com/browseproducts/Ketchup-Saver.html not two of the same things.
Why cannot you understand that a marriage is a union of a man and a woman? You have been through a couple of them yourself. I have been through 1 and I am in my second. The intrinsic idea behind marriage, ... no I will explain it in simpler terms ... what marriage really really really means, is a man and a woman joining together. What apple pie means is apples and sugar surrounded by pastry crust. It you put lemons in it, it is no longer apple pie. The same with marriage -- if you have two of the same sexes, it is no longer marriage. Man, this concept can be grasped by someone in Grade 5.

Hi there Vicky:
I'm sorry that I'm just getting back in from a hectic afternoon of organizing for a big event on Saturday. I am not ignoring your posts, however, when I checked earlier your matters were so complex that I decided to send a brief, polite note to Lurker and that I would spend some time in the early morning giving you a lovingly detailed response.
I have heard you several times on the radio, so although we have never been introduced, you are familiar to me and as a Bahamian, you are an important member of my tribe. So, it's already 10:30 here or 1:30Am Bahamian time but I promise that when you rise in the morning there will be words on this site which were prepared just for you.
Regards,
I have never been on the Radio. I have been on TV though and it can be seen on youtube.

FYI I am already medicaly documented as a transsexual woman by 4 Drs and 1 psychotherapist. The change is medicaly permanent and I can never go back I am happy to say.
Is that all the best you can do is imply I am this pittiful person. Don't insult me with the looking for sympathy bit its not in any way part of who I am. What you people can't handle is the fact that I am unashamed and stand my ground openly and free, for all to see.

Let me ask a question here.

Seeing that gender dysphoria is a mental condition, has there been any research done into therapy or medication which would assist in the acceptance of your physical body?

If you are taking hormones to sustain yourself as a woman now, I would think that you would be willing to take medication which would minimize the feelings of femeninity, so you could live and feel like a man.

Before making this drastic, irreversible change, would you have taken medication and remained living as a man if it were available?

I bet you that when it all comes out in research, it will have to do with dopamine, or seratonin, or seratonin uptake inhibitors. The chemistry of thought is just opening up.
