Is there a standards of care for persons with rhino dysphoria?
Is it listed in the International Classification of Diseases-10 (ICD-10) or the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders--Fourth Edition (DSM-IV).
Gender identity disorder aka gender dysphoria is listed in both.

I have been put on this earth to correct faulty logic and outright lies when I see it. Let me educate you on the SRY gene. The SRY gene has nothing to do with gender dysphoria. If you had a defective SRY gene, you would be infertile. You would have the body of a woman, and the genitalia of a man, and you would probably swim for the East German 1970's Olympic team. The communists sought out these mutants who had the genitalia of a woman (or mixed man and woman) but had the strength of a man. The swim champion Cornelia Ender comes to mind. Nobody was sure of her real sex, because she had a mutated SRY gene.

You don't claim directly but try to imply that a defective SRY gene is responsible for gender benders. That is a total mistruth.

The psychiatrists who profess gender dysphoria are akin to the Freudian class of psychoanalysts thirty years ago. Freud incorrectly postulated that many mental illnesses came from Oedipus or Electra complexes where we would like to mate with our parents. All of Freudian psychotherapy has been discredited with the discovery of seratonin and dopamines etc.

So what happens when scientists develop a form of Seratonin uptake inhibitors like a Paxil that will stop making you think that you are a woman? Have you ever thought of that.

In the ultimate irony, you talk about the SRY gene. Incidentally, a defective SRY gene affect the level of neurotransmitters called dopamines. If you have a defective one of these, you may be mentally ill and ultimately suffer from schizophrenia, parkinsons, and other dopamine related brain maladies. And all of this is due to a very simple defect in a protein chain.
