Both are in my opinion minors, students. I think an expulsion should be in order for both students. That in my opinion is reasonable. By now the whole nation knows who the children involved so at this point does anyone really care if Carl Bethel says something. I asked the quiestion earlier of Objiective "What would he like Carl to say on the matter?" Maybe you can tell me.

He could take some lessons from how the police dealt with that tourist shooting..Firstly they confirmed that the incident happened. And then they kept the public informed!!!

Now "OT" will say that she didn't have to say anything because her son was charged, or in other words the matter was dealt with, well the same can be argued about this case, the school caught 2 students acting inappropriately, by the way it did not go the way it has been reported, and the school punished them in the way they saw fit.

Now trust me this is not the first time students at this school have been caught in compromising positions, figuratively and factorially, and this isn't the only school where such incidents are discovered, so the school dealt with the matter as it has done in the past.

Scenario: at my high school (private) a few years before i graduated, a group of guys were caught doing undesirable activities of the alternative lifestyle (not the actual thing, but you know other stuff) and they were actually filming it. All of the boys were suspended and one was expelled. They let the school authorities (the Church) know but I never heard of them calling the Ministry of Education for that matter.

They had dealt with it and moved on.

Now unless you people tell me that they acted in the incorrect manner, then this matter at QC is just a witch hunt (sorry just came from that other thread) to bring these teens into the spotlight and throw verbal stones at them. you people are foaming at the mouth, jsut to see Carl Bethel or whomever it is, resign. You've forgotten that these are children, who made a mistake and now they should be punished by the school. this has nothing to do with the father, unless he'd like to take disciplinary action against his own child.

Yes it is. He performed it on a minor. I think that the school only should deal with that matter like you said though. These indicents happen frequently in schools. I think the ministry needs to find out who leaked the story and deal with that person. People who leak and expose sexual stories on minors should be fired.

That was my point, the school dealt with the matter the way it always has and he was punished.
Keep in mind that the school actually knows what happen, you don't, the two were in a compromising position, not actual sex.
Now if schools go to the police for every sex incident between students that will be all the police would be working on.

Plenty of unna did it and got away with it. Back then when you were milking the cow it was not criminal but now it is. You'll need to get real. GET REAL I SAY, GET REAL.
