What is causing this heat?

Wind coming from the south constantly. Unless there is a redirection from wind from the North-East we will continue to have the heat.

The winds have been extremely high from the South this last week which makes me wonder why. Generally they calm down when coming from the South. Must be some major Low pressure to the North to generate such a flow. Or a strong Jetstream.

And the grass everywhere is brown..we need some rain!

Nassau is one big cloud of smoke these days, especially at night. Looks like fog on some nights.

1 Mature tree can collect 750 GALLONS of RAIN water a YEAR, who needs that??? we like barging it out of Andros, dont dispair Andros trying to ketch up wit Nassu, home after home sitting on scraped land. "we" gern feel more better iffen we need to barge it from furder away, nuttin like a SUCKER for punishment.
Trees help filter the ground water SUPPLY, who needs that?????

My Dad always talks about the use of trees on a persons property....always, and not some dinty scrappy palm that hasn't grown for years.

There is a house in the neighbourhood back home.....his house does not look all that good but you really overlook it becasue of the bouganveilla growing across the fence..I mean covered. Mind you I have no idea if it is his or his neighbour's plants but I love to see it evertime I return.

I just came back from OHIO, one of my cousins live in "THE HOOD" East Cleveland, well you would not know you were in "the Ghetto" if some one did not tell you, well out side of some abandoned homes, but the streets lined off with big old trees, for the most part it looked better than some of our "upper class" neighborhoods.

I think the whole thing leads to the reason little people farm. They will not get down into the soil even for their own yard. Some people would hardly cut their own grass. And some of the people who they hire don't know jack about the value of any tree. You tell them trim the yard, when you get back you can't find your trees.....and the guy goes...."you say trim the yard aye?"

Sigh........... I know I beating my head against the wall now. Spammy, living things need to be cared for, trees need TLC, just as you maintain your hair, trees need to be pruned if they are to have a longer better life, it is in our BEST intrest to take care of them, if we only took 1 fact, and that is they help us to BREATH CLEAN!
None of the other facts are as important as that, breath, we need air, clean air is nice, dont you think?
Trees get damaged due to storms, constuction and other factors including age.
So a once yearly maintenence program will do wonders for our trees, which will do wonders for us.
We dont see the filth, stray dogs, decayed trees, or hacked trees or the LACK of trees, we hardly see one another, heck we could care less for one another if this forum is any indication of how far our values have dropped.
If we dont care for one another, I wonder why I waste my time, its just a Tree after all, they where here before us, so what?
I am afraid what this summer will bring, hurricanes are more violent, we are filling in our mangroves, lakes, chopping down our hills and trees, oh forget it, I might as well speak in chinese.
My fight an labour is one of LOVE, so I will fight on, every once in awhile some one awakens from their slumber, and that is why I fight.
