I dont want to be an alarmist, so I ask, Is there anyway to there them off? I sometimes sign-on at school and would rather not have a "Chubby gay dating service" banner splashed across the top of the page.

If any of spam yall know how to turn them off, pls let me know.

You don't have to click it. You can Right-click on the ad, hit Properties and then copy the address. Then send the address to me via PM. Or if there is a URL under the banner then carefully select it and copy.

its google ads .. just disable javascript if you dont want to see it.

By doing the above what else wont I be able to do or access. I need remote access to online databases and library.

anything that uses javascript wont work. Online apps will still work as they use server side programming. However some features will not work, eg. using the bbcode buttons on this forum, Youtube wont play vids on the video only pages, Most flash based stuff wont display, etc. A web app targeting a large audience should always work in general regardless if javascript is disabled, but its a given that it will have some minor lack of features.
