while stuck in 5 oclock traffic headin ova blue hill by family guardian, a lady was standin in da middle of da road wit a sign askin for support so she cud help her two kids. i felt sympathetic for the lady till i look behind the sign that was blockin her face....she was average age and looked healthy. im sure she could find sumthin to do even if its bein a house keeper or anything. but i still gave her da benefit until my passenger shared a story. she said dat same lady was at their church in the grove asking for assistance. after collecting so much and seeing nobody around, she walked on the side of the church building and jump into a montero suv. nah if you to a point where you beggin to support ya family why da hell u drivin a gas guzzlin jeep? nah ya c y i does screw up my window n luk straight instead of offering assistance dese days




I saw this same lady..She was on Bernard Road one morning ..not that many people were generous that morning..just drove right by..I guess I'm a sucker because I gave her something...I said to myself she must be really in need and deseperate to stand in the sun all morning..we all know bahamians are PROUD individuals they don't like no one know when they are in need..so either she is desperate for real or a good actress..I don't know but my heart went out to her and I hope she can find a job to feed those kids.

Chile...dis woman does be all over...when I saw her in Westridge and told her to ask some of the ppl coming from the foodstre for a job..she told me job hard to find....she won't get a dollar from me....she have health and strenght and she can work. If she can find her way to these busy intersections to beg, she can get dressed and go to flippin work!

Why she just can be honest like the beggar on the highway in Miami. The sign read "WHY LIE, I JUST NEED A BEER".

Her sign should read "WHY LIE, MAN AT HOME UNEMPLOYED, NEED MONEY FOR GAS, FOOD AND WEAVE".

Mummy say she saw this woman by the roundabout on East Street South. She gat enough money for gas obviously.

I get the shock of my life the other day.

I was going to use the ATM machine at the RBC on West Bay Street. As I approached the door,through the clear glass I could see a lady standing inside holding a sign. The sign had the same old story.."help me feed my children." I quickly turned around and proceeded to find another machine.

I remember when they use to stand outside the door to the machine now they just stand up inside.

...and on top of that the lady was OVERWEIGHT...she cant be doing that bad then...maybe she should ease up and give some of that food to her children

YEa she is always at RBC Westeridge...that's her Sunday hustle.

BTW today at the Nassau Street light there were 5 of them hustling! Yes five!
