So, whats new, neither does our government, in fact, how many governments ever do admit to making mistakes? The UK has in the past, but thats the only once I have ever seen do it.

Either way, why do you care so much, are you american? Are you iraqi? ar the bombs dropping in your back yard? If you are either of the 2, then this is the wrong forum for you, this is called BAHAMAS ISSUES, troll elsewhere. If not, then dont worry so much, worry about our own problems and our own government, because we have ALOT of issues here in our own country to take care of.

peace ..
ps Rory I Know That I can publicy state that i hav done more towards the improvement of this country in one year that you will ever do in your lifetime. ;)

but the thing is marichal...these people were always there!!
they didnt spring up out of no where...their hatred and love for a lawless land is what spawned them!
they are not people who are unknown to the situation in iraq..they have been waiting themselves for power, just as everybody else!

and with all of the attacks, i am convinced that sadamm was bad, but the insurgents (who i feel have very little to do with sadamm and bathist) are worse!!
these people are waiting to take over like how the taliban did in afghanistan after the russians were expelled.

they are just waiting til the u.s. gives up..they want to break the will of their own people...and if it takes a stupid redneck like bush to kick some ***...THEN LET HIM KICK ***!!!
:sparky:

over 1400 IRAQI soldiers killed....

If you say so.

Lets see if this soldier can please you, because no one here making sense can.

Marine on liberty dies in gunbattle with police
Veteran of Falluja fighting did not want to go back to Iraq
According to the Marines, he had been awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

With all those metals he tried doing what you and Bush wanted.
With all the useless effort I am sure you will condem him.
There is no honor in war, no victory.

I'll bet Mr Bush and Mr Luck will never get it fix no matter what they do so I hope no one put there money where their mouth is... But what I think you mean is let him try...so that he can learn. I would like to say to Mr Luck good luck, but there is nothing you or anyone can do about Iraq, nothing other than to further escalate what is going on now.
Nature will take care of it...if you know what I mean "?" :shaky:

So far everything that I have been saying here in this thread has been right on the mark, and I am contented. No matter what you think of Iupdate or what he is, no matter who agree or disagree, no matter who it anger or makes happy.
The way this is turning out is not the way I would like to see it, but given the fact that President Bush refuse to change direction it can go no other way but the way it is going and I roll over laughing at the results. :dunce:

but what you are suggesting is a full pull out from iraq...that wont happen
and in fact...what you wanted was not to go to war at all!!!

for all the selfish reasons...
those people are better off making free choices for themselves...
iraq is better of..freedom has a cost, the american revolution was bloody, and look at them now!
things need to change like it always does in times of war..but a full withdrawal is not what we need!!

we need not to fighting the war now...we need to be preserving the peace surrounding the elections!!!

I don’t know how we got to the idea of pulling out! I didn’t have this no where in my mind, but since we are on this point I will tell you what I think about it.

Pulling out is just as foolish, just as stupid, just as dump, dumb, dumb as going there in the first place.
Now that they the US have shot their way in, and now they will have to shoot their way out, it will not at all be that easy for them to get out.

Even if they want to pull out I know, you know and they know that the consequences are far greater than staying, and we know this.

We know that they are not in control of the pull out. It is like a rig that is attached to a trailer head that is out of control. If you are lucky (not MR Luck) you may have control of the trailer head but absolutely no control of the rig that is attached to it. This US administration made something that they have absolutely no control over. The question is “why make something that you can not control?”

You know there are a lot of people in this threat would like to see different than the ways I suggest here, but I will say that they would be just as bad advisors to Mr. Bush as is the advisors that are already there.

Every one agrees on the fact that the pull out will be a disaster, we all agree on this but it is to bad that we all did not agree on going in the way that they did. In other words I never disagree that the US should have not gone in to Iraq, but rather the way that they did. If they wanted to go in with forces then they should have gone in as the UN and marching in from Kuwait. The first action should not have been a missile up Saddam ---! But, rather to roll in to step cross the boarders by marching in peacefully to inspect FOR WMD THAT TURNED OUT TO BE NOTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE. AND NOW TRYING TO DISTRACT US WITH democracy (such an ugly way and ugly picture). Well most of you are just as distracted by this call as was the call for war over WMD, THAT TURNED OUT TO BE NOTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE. But not me, not Iupdate.

Take another look at our environment, take a close look at it, and take a look at us all. You call it all success because America went through similar failures and successes of war. Give me a break, it is all a mess. Some of us saw this A long time ago, some us see this now and some of us will see this later. The whole world is in a mess and you wonder why we say it can not be fixed, that is because to many things are wrong, to many interference, to many things out of place, to many lacking, to many greed, to much unfairness, to much of what should and must not be, to much ignorance, to much distraction and on and on. All this is just too much mixed up and mixupness, it will never fix. Nature will fix it for all of us, if you know what I mean.

I can hardly see one thing that we (man) have made that does not threaten our existence. If we think we can give the same system to every human being, well that is because you don’t understand this existence. You keep lions and tigers in a cage, you do not take them from the jungle and set them free in the city.

But you are not looking at this you are looking at material, you see America as good because of the materiality and the human respect that it is able to mass, yes the US gains from this we all know this, we all WANT it, we want what the US have. This reality dazzles our senses and we want this more than GOD, this is God, this is heaven to most and many of us. Yes, it is all pretty, glamorous and dramatic. Yes, it makes some of us high and some of us low, some of us kings and some of us peasants. Whatever comes from it we like or love it and in the dazzling some of us get giddy and fall asleep, it happens to some of us. While others, some of us have what it takes to control the glitter and gleam of this stuff and some of us don’t. It is good that you think that material and technological progress sustains human existence, I will say again WHAT SAYS WE NEED IT TO BREATHE AND DIE!

Back to the point.

Well the US is in Iraq and they can not get it the way the idolize it and they can not get out and they can not stay there forever. My point is they must get out some how some way and with whatever little dignity remains, IF THEY CAN and if any remains at this point.

The question is when? And I say not anytime soon.
The question is how? Perhaps in a time machine! It may be the only possible way out for them to leave. If they are going to survive and maintain respect and status as the world leader, and they have already or just about dashed their hopes for this already.
