Even my PI friends lost the current for about 3 hours tonight (5-8PM). They say that there were lightning storms that may have been responsible.

CLAIM? hah? only claim that ever seems to work is to have some of them zeroes taken off of the back end of the bill, which always manage to get there "by mistake" :)! otherwise, we're pretty used to to 4-5 hour outages on a daily basis by now ... been that way several years now.
