It Is SO MUCH Cheaper To Keep Her: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's got a divorce and will have to pay $22,454/month in child support.

22k is excessive...especially when homegirl made 700K last year alone...the cost of living in south florida isnt really that high...he probably just really loves his daughter...either way buddy gave himself a raw deal or no pre-nup!

On another note, I know someone who got divorced in the states and the ex husband has to keep the wife 'living' the same way he did in the marriage + she got the house.

Well, I guess it is only fair that the child reap the rewards of the parents success. So if he making millions why should the child only get $30 a week (like some children here do)?

He would probably spend that or more on his kid if he and the wife were still together.

BTW how much does the wife get? That determines if it was cheaper to keep her or not.

From someone living in S. Florida I beg to differ, it is rather high.

How do you know this? Link?

I wondered if they had a pre-nup, because I think the couple get married pretty young.

high in terms of a child needing 20K a month to survive! hmph!

evenso depending on where you live, when you got in, your standard of living, which tax bracket your in, your overhead, living far above you means...student loans, addictions/habits...all that has to be taken in consideration...but it does cost to live in south florida...and it appears to be getting worst before it gets better.

yeah but dats his child!!! You make 7 million a picture and you only spend $2,000 a month on your child and what you do wit da rest????

Da chile need to live in masion, go to da bestest school, go on awsome vacations, have da best tings in da room (just like she would if mummy and daddy togedder).

It ain about what da chile need to survive, its about the lifestyle the parents can afford to give.

I wan know what da wife get???? Alimony/settlement wise???
