Its not really a proper beach, and muddy to begin with, but sea view is lovely once past all the garbage and dead animal skins and bones.

i agree with you Lady fox but watch sapmmy he want you tress so bad but i will put an electric fence around the area so when he tried that chain saw the rest is history. BOL

But the thing about this is, people are using this as THE dumping ground...the final destination.

It's like sweeping the dirt under the rug, but now the rug can't hide it well anymore.

I think Bahamians like to put stuff under the rug, rather than just dispose of it one time.

just look on the side of the roads .. garbage and rotten animal corpses everywhere .. it is a shame.

How did we as a people get to this point??
We need to wake up and fast, I will not let this go until there is a change in this country!
I drive behind people in cars/trucks or just walking the road who think NOTHING about throwing litter down on the ground.
What the Heck happend to fines for littering?? Oh dont tell me, same thing that happend to all our laws, got thrown out or simply not enforced.
We better get together and stop talking shed about PLP or FNM, this is OUR country, lets agitate, get some elbow grease and start cleaning up!
We in this thing together, lets work to RESTORE OUR COUNTRY!
This is not only about saving the trees, this is about saving OUR ENVIRONMENT, the mangroves, stop filling up our lakes, cutting down our hills, cutting into pristine beaches for the ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR!
If we continue at this rate, we will know exactly what it means to be a refugee.
Enough complaining, enough talk, time to build!

Why did they bag up all that plant material? Instead on putting it in plastic bags they should have mulched it then put it on a compost heap! That stuff is prime fertilzer.
