Is screwed if we keep on keeping on! If the powers that be stay true to form, forget it and hope you have another passport. I have been away for a while and on coming back to Nassau I have been in a state of shock. The hatred that i have encountered on this island has been amazing. The ignorance is astounding! The apathy is sad. Rude is the order of the day. Dirt is prevalent. I hold little hope.

Wide eye, you seein' everything I seein', and it don't look good. The Bahamas has so much untapped potential, seeing the 'leaders' of this land ignore and squander for their own purpose(s) is sickening. I tryin' to get that second passport on the go.

But to answer the question, As a Nation…why don't we have, in action, a permanent development plan for our Nations future?, there would be too much accountability.

When some politician introduced accountability and openess into the Bahamas' political dialogue and tried implementing his plans..he was called a bully. Bahamians for the most part don't like change even if it is for the better. The work involve requires sacrifice of which none are prepared.
I believe there is still hope for our nation but the task grows more challenging each day that we delay.

I understand in any society it is the individuals that are most comfortable with change that actually make lasting impressions in the minds of the masses. However; the majority of citizens will rebel against any form of change, good or bad.

That may not be it. But a politician who does not have to be made accountable or even uncomfortable is a dangerous person.

We make decision every day that will affect changes for years into our future…my point is why wont we make the kind of change that can uplift the immediate conditions of every individual in our Nation?
