But it is so hard to look cool on a Vespa! :)
Ya know...I don't mind a scooter. And Vespa's can go off-road

sthW8rpL0BEGVLgx-FDI54

But...I really want one of these...

KCy9nrchqFI

with the seat mod of course. It's light, powerful and has ground clearance. And no, I will not be on our streets doing what he is doing, but it's nice to know that I can :D

Where I plan on taking this bike, a Vespa would only be problematic.

That's sad.

I've personally seen people get messed up being passengers on bikes. Irresponsible behavior is just that, but when carrying a passenger it's doubly so as that person's life is literally in one's hands.

You know it's really sad because it seems as if the more they get hurt or killed the more foolishness they do.. Have u ever noticed the amount of young with missing limbs in this country? Most of them are due to motorcycle accidents.. I don't know why they do the foolishness they do and then they put other people's lives at risk as well as their own..:cutie:

ps not to mention the amount of noise the dirt and trail bikes make..

Leave them alone...they will soon die out as a result of doing foolishness.
My late brother rode bikes, mostly in the US, he was knocked down three times on major highways because either the driver wasn't paying attention or he wasn't or he was doing ish....In Dallas they made wearing a helmet optional which got a lot of them wearing helmets, perhaps we need to do that here and see what effect it would have! And guess what once they made it optional, my brother and his bike crew were all suited up and of course the helmet saved his life a number of times even though he ended up with other injuries!
It is what it is, foolishness or not death cannot be denied so if a man's actions claims his life there's nothing you, I or anyone else can say or do to discourage his desires or beliefs. Healthy people die in their sleep every day. You can be as cautious as ever, lead an almost error free life and even that won't be able to defy death. Every man gat a right to decide their own destiny, let them choose their own way.

I know not all riders are irresponsible, as I have a few friends who are safe
riders. Still, the police need to do something about the reckless ones.
HOWEVER, they need to ban the loud exhaust mufflers, aka "cumpy", as they serve no purpose other than to be loud and an annoyance. They should prohibit shops from selling them, fine riders for having them, and force them to be removed from motorbikes found with them installed. I think motorbikes should be inspected bi-annually as well, to help enforce the rule.
Sometimes I just wish I could follow them to their homes at night and blow an air horn in their ears, to show them how it feels. I mean my baby can't even sleep sound, because every few minutes, some @$$-clown is driving past on one of them.
Just ban them! Make a law that only the stock mufflers are allowed, unless it is a silencer they are having installed.

It is actually a terrific idea to have a "cumpy" on a trail for the mere fact that the horns aren't loud enough for fellow motorist to hear in most instances. when faced with a situation where other motorists are not focused most times they don't hear the trail horn. A cumpy would be the ideal thingt to assist fellow motorist with acknowledgement of your presence. I do agree that some riders take it to the extreme and agitate other motorist intentionally. Had it not been for the cumpy many riders may have lost their lives due to close calls. Fact of the matter is fellow motorists don't respect bike riders when the too have to undergo the same procedure to licence and insure their bikes. For some reason they feel they have more right to the usage of the roads. So yes, a "cumpy" on a bike, especially when a cautious and experienced rider is on one, is a good idea. Fellow motorists contributed to the way bikers ride due to the fact that thay feel the bikes should not be allowed on the road cause they don't like them, yet they complain. It is a means of transportation. To each his own.....

Bikes follow the same laws as cars, and those with the loud exhausts, and the ones that ride down the center of the road, are just plain CRIMINALS and need to be locked up.

IF YOU WERENT OVERTAKING AND RIDING DOWN THE CENTER OF THE STREET, RIDING THE WRONG WAY DOWN THE ROAD, OR PLAIN BEING A JACKA$$, THEN YOU WOULDN'T NEED TO BE "CUMPY" YOU POS. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SAFETY BUT WITH BEING THE LOUDEST ON THE BLOCK AND IMPRESSING THE 14 YEAR OLD GIRLS IN THE HIGH SCHOOLS.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PIANO WIRE ON SUNDAYS.

and please...how many of them bikes you think are actually "licensed AND insured"...

And then you'd be taking out persons like me who do abide by the law.

Let's not give anyone such "ideas".
