The show was great.... (as expected...)...As comical as Orthland is he CONTROLS his show...and allowed Erin to speak about what she REALLY came there to talk about...

Notice how he (Ortland) started off ranting about a dead dog and an illegal fruit stand. Then he started calling her Missus (Mrs) Greene.

Ortland is comical, but for all of the wrong reasons.

Co-sign. I can't stand the show anymore. I miss Jeff Lloyd so bad at More94, it's not even funny.

The show was excellent today! Very informative, and Ortland Bodie Jr. was in top form. IMO, he is a much more skillful talk show host than Jeff Lloyd, and knows how to get to the heart of the issues. And of course, Ms. Erin Greene was phenomenal as she spoke on the unresolved recent murders of gay men in the news. I applaud her courage to go on National Radio as an advocate for the Bahamian GLBTQ Community, expressing their concerns. :bouncy:

Dispute the sporadic calls from some "Bible thumpers", espousing how homosexuality is a "sin" and insinuating that the horrific murders of these gay men was a result of their lifestyle, Ms. Greene wisely rebutted them, based their own premise, that "we are all sinners and, therefore, are going to die". She silenced them all and keep to her agenda as to why she appeared on the show in the first place... :voodoo:

Moreover, I must complement Mr. Johnson, the President of the Bahamas Human Right Project, and the only member of the Bahamian Bar with enough intestinal fortitude to call-in to the show and speak on the issue of the fundamental rights guaranteed by our Constitution for all, regardless of race, colour, creed, and sexual orientation. BRAVO! :hammer:

I would like to know, where was the other prominent Bahamian jurists, or even the President of the Bar, for that matter, explaining to the Bahamian public that the rights of gays and other minorities in our society cannot be "trampled on" because of personal bias and prejudices...? And they are guaranteed "equal protection" under the law. There seems to be a deafening silence from these esteem gentlemen and gentlewomen when it comes to these important issues that are gamine to us all in today's Bahamian Society. :dgi:

nevertheless, we all know Erin...she aint say nothing new recently what we haven't heard her said on BI...thus far, we all agree that she is sexy but need a man to...um well straigten her out...but thanks for the update...hopefully the guardian radio station will have something interesting on to listen to, during that time.
