I musse almost faint twice since this morning. I thought all the undercover whispers about the dancehouses/ stripclubs were bad, but dese gals (and guys too I guess) outta hand all ova this place!

I am not sure if it was on the bloggy boys or on this site where I first heard about this ... but as I read the Tribune this morning I notice that our police is struggling to break up a mulit-national prostitution ring operating out of a West Bay Street Hotel....and yes... they also caters to homosexual men as well....
What in the hell is happeinging in our country...
the jokiest part is how these jamaican women have this thing all figured out apparently they are coming over for a few weeks and using the abandoned hotel and looka how they get catch throwing lye on one of the clients - yall may think i joking but i starting to take a serious look at other people culture and what they believe this een yard ma boy the last time i heard of lye getting throw was in the 80's

But with the new initiative to legalise "numbers" here in the Bahamas, I say, why not legalise prostitution as well. In this manner, government could regulate the sex industry and ensure that sex workers be registered and receive proper medical screening...then the revenues from the business could be taxed.

The facts of the matter are, prostitution is the oldest profession in the world. Its not going to go away in the Bahamas. With legalisation and regulation, perhaps government would have better control of the sex industry. Presently, what we have been going is closing our eyes and pretending normal... :taped:

The police should check out the 'brothel' on the corner of Dowdeswell and Armstrong street.....but I don't think any police would because that is a no go zone...somebody protecting that.
