I am not sure if it was on the bloggy boys or on this site where I first heard about this ... but as I read the Tribune this morning I notice that our police is struggling to break up a mulit-national prostitution ring operating out of a West Bay Street Hotel....and yes... they also caters to homosexual men as well....

What in the hell is happeinging in our country...

Happening? Honey, MEN in this country been buying sex for YEARS!!! Now its just a bit more organized.

I mean, how many people YOU know who grandaddy had "outside" chirren???? AND was footin' the bill in da udda woman house???

The frustrating and sad part is that the story in the newspaper confirms that a surprise sting was foiled by an informant, someone on the inside, that the place was about to be busted. All of the hookers and pimps fled the scene just before the popo arrived. Corruption on the police force is obviously rampant, and until we do as Keith Bell recommmended, and get a unit of government to deal with corruption, we are going to see this society implode!

Like someone mentioned there is to much corruption. there are a few dishonest persons who are supposed to be upholding the law instead they are inside undermining it.Prostitution only can exist when there is a demand for it. so if people stop buying, dem hookers will have to stop selling.but ya know dat been around from da beginning of time.

The police should check out the 'brothel' on the corner of Dowdeswell and Armstrong street.....but I don't think any police would because that is a no go zone...somebody protecting that.

We need a stronger intellegence unit. I dare further suggest a Secret police set up, and it does not really have to be Bahamians, considering the small society and close bond everyone has with everyone.
