I will be dammed if I will have anyone preach to me from some media soapbox telling me how I should live,when in fact I am living by the very scripture that I believe in. My bible tells me that God put all animals on this earth for the use of man,that animals live by the grace of man and proceeded to tell me what animals I may eat and which I may not.

This bunch needs to stay on their own side of the street and leave us be before they get rowed.When I see video of them splashing paint on people's furcoats in New York City it makes my blood boil to the point where I would most certainly bloody them if it were my wife's coat:hammer:.

No not at all. We should be careful what dreams we try to bring to "fruit" and how we do it.

I don’t like PETA’s tactics. Their “Meat is Murder” http://www.petacatalog.org/prodinfo.asp?number=BU179 campaign might well turn into the one they did with fur! Red paint anyone? The thing is people are still wearing fur.

To accuse people of being murders just because they eat meat (as has been done since the beginning of time) just strikes me as odd! Tell people about the benefits of eat veggies - yes, but will it stop there? When will PETA start with its strong arm tactics?

I 'm reading a lot of shoot the messenger. Don't worry about PETA or me for that matter. Do your own research. whether you care about animals or the planet - or don't for that matter the stats are out there. the reality id that if we all ate a little lower on the food chain it would create less stress on the Planet.

No one is demanding you do it.

As far as I understood this is an open forum for exchange of ideas and information. If you choose not to like what someone has posted that's fine.

Everyone has their own catalyst that ultimately lights the fire within - for what ever your passion is. Personally, protecting the environment has been, and is a deeply spiritual process for me.

We have only ONE Planet Home. For those of you out there that believe humans are endangering our home please do what ever you can to help plug the breach.

Ultimately it is not about the birds or the fishes or the trees (sorry fox) using the resources of the planet WISELY and SUSTAINABLY is what we are after. Right now that AIN'T happening.
