This is a letter [B]allegdly written by this person and passed around. Gossip can be spread via words spoken and words printed. This supposedly AI.D.S letter is the latter. This matter has not been proven to be true and has never been adjudicated by any court in the Bahamas. Hence it can be chalked up to gossip, unless proven to be true!!!!

I did not promulgate the letter. In fact, the letter is of little consequence, to the issue I wanted to address; can someone be tried for a criminal offence, for spreading AIDS. Don't be stupid, now!

If you read the second half of that question, you would see that it says "AND", did you see me make up any thing in regards to his personal life? Just asked a question, about his position and anti-God positions, as it was obvious with his hatred for the PLP, to ask him a question. I did not make up anything on him, and if I wanted to gossip about it, I would have spread it via pm that he was a satan worshipper or anything.


Just so you know, there is no need to go all the way to the U.S. Just look in the Sexual Offences & Domestic Act 1991. Section 8 subsection (2) of the BAHAMAS LAWS and you will find that it is also an offence in the BAHAMAS punishable by law with incarceration.

But, as said, those issues, are not about spreading gossip---in fact, one was a question and the other one, was asking about the issues, basing the question on an event that took place. Back to the topic, and away from the sillyness of Bahamiangoddess.

The issue is, is that even though you may have a case, a weak one in some respect, for all of us hearing about a bit of country gossip---the fact that it is very distasteful, to be honest.

Shifting the issue to me, is what one would call a deflection. However, it does not make it right or wrong for anyone, to speak on an issue. Fact is, country gossip is disgusting. Anyone making an excuse to do it, or for the reasons why they did it--justifiably so-- is slightly warped, morally.

You never ever think about the people you slander, and bring to the fore, without any truth to what you bring forward.
