View Full Version : Father's Day Menu!

Oh yes, foil! Americans don’t know about foil like we do. Some ladies in the Bahamas even carry some in their handbags - just in case there is some food to take home! :)
legalalien 06-15-08, - 01:53 PM funny thing, the woman who said that men are only sperm donors, i know her, and am not surprised at her sentiments.
she is one of those women who is very "generous with her wares", and has paid the price for her generousity. i dont think that she knows who the father of her child is!
happy father's day to all fathers, and prospective fathers!

Brown Suga 06-15-08, - 09:23 PM I saw that individual ,can't say lady cause that would be incorrect. She was like deez men is sperm donors take it from me...now if she all about geeing crab-A, crab-B, and crab-C any non thinking male would hop on it. Alot of women blame men but they are at fault also. they hook up with any and erryting just to say dey gat a man. while dey done know he een worth a puff a smoke and den ga bring a child in da world...dis dose get me real wex:sparky:Nah dey gattee take care da child and run behind da man who dey know de een had no future with fa da court ta gee dem $30 a week.Women please, a man can only do what you allow him to get away with. if you go dere picking peas outta shed, den ya ga end up with shed. Some women take more time shopping fa shoes dan dey do selecting a good man.
Well said GenX!

Bahamasinmyheart 06-16-08, - 12:08 AM Chutney goes without saying! Got to have a dhal!!! (I will have to leave that for my wife to fix when she gets home. She does a better job with it - and she likes it better that I)
Don't you live in Andros? Want a take-away? lol! :)
Hey CG (or anyone) i have a chutney question.
I want to buy some but i'm not sure how to use it with a meal.
Say i make a tandoori chicken with rice. How would i serve and use the chutney on the side? Do you just serve as a a condiment that people add to their rice?
Any flavors you'd recommend? Ive seen mango, ginger (i think) tomato and lime.

BIMH, the traditional chutney to serve with curry is mango, and yes, you would serve it as a condiment to put on the side of the plate and then eat by adding a little to each forkful of food. Although any flavour chutney is just as good.
In my experience, tomato chutney is used as an accompaniment to cold cuts or in sandwiches (instead of mustard). Lime chutney or Lime Pickle is also good with curry although it does have a tendency to be a bit sharp.
