View Full Version : Father's Day Menu!
Well I just sat down to watch the news and found myself laughing my head off at some of the responses that the reporter got.
Her question that she posed to the civilians was: "Why do the Father's recieve mostly crab on Father's Day?"
One lady come on an say that they only sperm donors, so they only deserve crab, if even that!
I find that to be so hard though, I know that we gat some man that ain't worth the X chromozone they gat but why they is cause all to suffer!
I never hear these fellas dem come on TV and say that someof these mothers out here ain't worth it.:hammer:
Brown Suga 06-14-08, - 09:52 PM I saw the news...that was funny!
licks2 06-14-08, - 11:29 PM Dat was a damn cryin shame ta men in dis country!!!! Dat garl's daddy een worth shed. . .not everybodys' daddy!!!!
I know plenty chirrins dem who will tell ya at da drop of er hat "das MY daddy". . .emphasis on da "my"!!!!
I know one man who heem girlfriend dem tell me dat "iffin heem on piece er front and heem chirrins de call and tell heem they need his hep. . .heem ger jump off and go take care dem fers den come back"!!!!
Another one I asked wha she ger do fer she daddy on FD! She say nothin. . ."heem say I jess need ta do good in life and das payment enough fer heem"!!!!!!
Another wife say dat she was so "hutt" when she chile had an operation and when she come too. . .she looked up at she ma and say" "where my daddy"!!!!!
And last but not least. . .I visit mine at heem grave every father's day. . .still tryna "be like heem was". . .plent good person!!!!:cutie::hammer:
So dat garl azz. . .she need ta bleam she slack ma fer "geein only crab" in da fers place. . .maybe das why:hammer: she daddy was not dere fer she!!!!!
I saw that individual ,can't say lady cause that would be incorrect. She was like deez men is sperm donors take it from me...now if she all about geeing crab-A, crab-B, and crab-C any non thinking male would hop on it. Alot of women blame men but they are at fault also. they hook up with any and erryting just to say dey gat a man. while dey done know he een worth a puff a smoke and den ga bring a child in da world...dis dose get me real wex:sparky:Nah dey gattee take care da child and run behind da man who dey know de een had no future with fa da court ta gee dem $30 a week.Women please, a man can only do what you allow him to get away with. if you go dere picking peas outta shed, den ya ga end up with shed. Some women take more time shopping fa shoes dan dey do selecting a good man.
~*Lovely*~ 06-15-08, - 12:27 AM I just started hearing this crab thing. Lol. We NEVER had crab on Father's Day. We just had regular Sunday dinners... Maybe with the meat the guys like or something like that. The women in the family don't really go all out in the kitchen because, "Everyday is Father's Day, child." LOL.
bahmaboy 06-15-08, - 12:43 AM like the saying goes the innocent suffers for the guilty. in a society where well over 50% of children have neglectful fathers you cant be shocked when you get responses like that.
what i noticed lately though is that these animation cartoon movies are now painting fathers in a better light.
The Wild
Barnyard
Finding Nemo
etc.

I'm pleased to hear that, because for decades now, parents and Fathers in particular have been painted as idiots by the writers of kid's entertainment.
The storyline always seemed the same.....the kids are running things, the Mom is their best friend and the Father is a cave dwelling ninny.
I guess I may need to re-examine things a bit, because I absolutely forbid my little one "10 year old angel" to watch any of those kid's sitcoms. She carries on poorly about it,but I am a good Dad.I'm the one who awakens her and makes her breakfast and I'm the one who corrects her homework and tucks her in at bedtime............I don't appreciate being portrayed as an idiot by Hollywood.:)

You know what I am cooking for Dinner tonight? A real Indian Chicken Curry! With Nan bread, pompodoms, white rice and what used to be known as “small, small tings.” These are toppings that you can add to your curry according to your taste - peanuts, raisins etc.
I can remember a curry I had in England, cooked by an African friend of mine (Africans love a good curry!) There were forty or more different “small, small tings” you could add! Fantastic!!! Mine will not be that ambitious but I am still look forward to it. I will set the limit at, maybe five things - shredded coconut will be one.:):):)

Don't forget to include a nice raita in your small, small tings, cucumber is good as it is very cooling. A good lentil or chick pea dhal is also good as is a spinach bhagi, and don't forget the mango chutney.
I'm jealous! Can I come for dinner?

Chutney goes without saying! Got to have a dhal!!! (I will have to leave that for my wife to fix when she gets home. She does a better job with it - and she likes it better that I)
