My peeps are telling me that Marley's Resort on Bay Street West is about to re-open again. The word is that the resort is being run by a trust, and the trust wasn't short of money, but rather they couldn't get the money out of the trust in a manner efficient enough to run a business.

Anyway, I hope that all of the Bahamian creditors from the previous incarnation are paid off.

Save yer pennies though kiddies -- the cheapest room will go for $489 per night.

They were opened last Friday on the holiday and then went quiet again.
